What is the composite chart?

The composite chart is a chart made of the midpoints of two natal charts. It represents the energy this two people manifests together through their relationship, of any kind. It's like when we often say:

"This person makes me want to do certain things i wouldn't if alone"

"I usually don't share my feelings very often, but i can do this with this person"

"I just spilled out an intimate story and it was so natural i didn't even realize it".

"That's the chart of this two people as one. What they do together, how they do it."

A lot of people say that, since it's a midpoint method, you don't look at the signs or ASC, but to the houses. In my experience, that's not an opinion I share about the composite. I find the planets, ASC and MC really important to the interpretation of the whole and playing a great deal of the importance and meaning of the chart.

In synastry we find the planets talking about HOW, and the houses talking about WHERE. I believe in composite charts we have more of a mix of this things, so the house will talk about HOW we blend in the things of that specific planet, what we agree and what we don't. What we value in regards to the planet matter. The sign of the planet will give flavour and a more deep understanding of How this energy feels for them.

A couple who has venus and moon in 2th, will center they shared vales and feelings in the material world. But If this 2th is in, let's say, Pisces, we have a whole other world to take into account. Maybe they know they have those shared values but they float around If this is really the same point of view. They can change their mind a lot with pisces. And 2th+pisces is so cuddling in bed. Or even, on a more negative side, dealing with drugs. On the material world. Like a partner that smokes, and the other doesn't like it. One or both of them dealing with alcohol issues that will very much play a part in the relationship. That's a flavour we can't see just looking at the houses.

1th: Really common place in romantic partnerships. They appreciate each other physically. They think the other is beautiful. Combined sense of what we want to see in each other as physical qualities, the actions they are going to take about their preferences in general. The things that are appealing to each of them are very much in tune, so they can agree on good tastes, where they want to go out, what turns them on and what motivates them. Shared activities. That's a great placement to those agreements and not have fights around this. If this venus have some dificult aspects to pluto, saturn can have frictions but the agreements are still there. We can have these dificult narratives going on and still have the ease of this venus placement.

2th: Agreements in regards to money, where the money goes, how they will decorate their home, what type of house they will live in, what kind of arts they will buy or make together. It's a very natural place for venus. They agree on investments. They can share fashion sense and like the same beauty concepts. It's wonderful for people that work together and couple will feel that senses in common between them.

Edit1: it's a wonderful place for those who make art in general, because the other person supports their art and inspire them. Works so well in work and business relationships too.

3th: The shared pleasure seeking is very much centered in mental things. Shared opinions about the type of facts that they will focus on. It's a cerebral venus, not very common in romantic relationships. But there's a lot to share when it comes to world events, small talk, appreciate each other's point of view, even if it's diferent, It will be always intresting to learn about. They love this in this placement. They can feel their mind appreciated. Free will of opinions, thoughts and ideas.

6th: This is a more difficult placement for the moon in composite, since it comes a lot of times with bickering and critisism of each other, keeping score, looking at the little things. So it tends to be more judgement of each other and feeling we are in service of each other, in some fashion. Its not the most romantic place to have composite moon but the two people can focus on tasks very well if we have the moon well aspected. Their ideas of improvement are not quite similar, when it has hard aspects to it. So the emotional energy this two people create it's based on how they will do improvement out of their individual lives, their couple dynamic and their response to the envoiroment. We can feel less accepted.

"Sometimes i don't understand your way of feeling things, but we can think through how to focus on getting common ground."

7th: Both people can feel deeply emotionally compatible. They feel assured by the other person. One of the most beneficial places to have composite moon because this two people relate with each other in a relationship context. They are looking for the same kind of environment within the relationship itself. It's easy to relate, to bond, to have support, to feel that the other person is looking for the same things in a context of a relationship.

8th: It's a very complex placement for the composite moon. When lillith touches pluto in synastry of natal charts, we can have a good idea on how she'll play out in this connection regards to lillith energies (see Lillith in a man's chart here).

When we talk about her in progressed synastry, we can see what we are dealing with right now. At this time period within the relationship.

So what can come to us when those two dark forces are match with each other? Whatever this energy goes, it will always be intense.

Pluto is known for being a cold planet, kinda like the ice planet, the outcast, distant from the sun. But science actually discovered that underneath this ice shield it has running water. He has depth under the darkness. When with lillith, we have a dark marriage bringing transformation (soulmate or pluto obsession? Here). As they are being outcasted and denied, they have a lot in common.

The reason why everybody gets stuck in 12th synastry is because It can play out in so many different ways. But something is always present: it's foggy, you never know what truly is that you are looking at. So that can easily turn out to curiosity and fascination towards someone and what the hell they are thinking or why tha fuck they are acting that way? Why are they like that? Why they act a certain way and you feel they are feeling another?

When it comes to 12th every details and aspect can change everything you and the other person feels. So its hard to apply or resume to just a meaning. We have to enlight that:

A person with 12th placements in their birth chart can have more attraction towards 12th synastry. They can unconsciously seek this interactions. That's specially true when personal birth planets are in 12th or the high 12th planets like uranus and neptune.

ASC in late degrees makes your 12th house mostly in the sign of your ASC. So It speaks about this part of you that is hidden on such a seen point as the ASC. So what you project unconsciously. A personal planet of someone touching this point can certainly speak about an area that you two have lots in common. But 12th can't touch it.

Juno doesn't have to be at the same sign, and doesn't have to make contacts as well. Every situation is different.

My dad's Juno is in libra, and my mom is a libra Sun, but her Juno is not in libra and even If It is at the same sign, my mom's Sun doesn't make any contact with my dad's Juno.

So, her sun is what his Juno was searching for.

A friend have his Juno in aries and is married with a woman that has 0 planets in aries. But her moon makes a tight orb Trine his Juno.

My coworker has cancer Juno and his wife has no cancer placements and his Juno don't have significant placements with her planets too! 😱 But then you see... Her moon and venus are in 4th. And they make strong contacts with his 5th. They have four kids, lol. 😋

Lillith in a man's chart

Lillith can be quite different in men or women charts. I see a lot of intresting and insightful posts about lillith in a woman chart, but it's more rare find a post about men. So, shall we?

If you are willing to reaserch about this specific subject, the most common meaning you will find is that:

"Lillith is the woman he truly and deeply desire but, at the same time, the woman he is afraid of. The woman he falls head over heels with."

But deepvelvet, what does this mean, anyway? Is he able to have a relationship with her?

I will give a practical exemple of how this goes. She's a Gemini Sun and he has Gemini lillith. He enjoy movies. And is totally in love about the fact she seems to know everything about the 7th art! But at the same time, sometimes he feels she knows so much, that he feel dumb. Like he has nothing to add.

So he feels threatened about the same thing he admires.

A capricorn lillith man i knew, was a cap Sun and ASC too. He is the most practical person i've ever met. He admires independent and hardworking women. But, at the same time, he is threatened about his place at the family, in traditional sense. He wants to be the provider, right?

Soulmates are there and we get confuse when it comes to this A WHOLE LOT. just don't forget, tho:

1 soulmate relationships can be or not in regards to romantic love.

2 Its actually more common for them to come in your family and friends group.

But when we see how much we have in common with this other person, and even the ethereal way you two met and make the other feel. The feeling of knowing them already. All of this emotions came across us thinking "am i crazy?", "is this person feeling the same?"...and passion comes along.

"My ex can't stop thinking about me and is madly in love, but we broke up one year ago."

We started our relationship online, and we instantly get well and fell in love. We assume the relationship a couple of months later and we didn't met in person. So he came to where i live and stayed a week. A month later i went to his home and stayed a month. We had this type of thing going on for some months and then we decided to live together, since he would come to my city. The last visit before he move in, he started to dictate how things would be with us living together. I didn't like It at all, told him that, he Said he would change. He didn't. Só i broke up with him one year ago and he still try to contact me saying he is madly in love with me and i am ALL he thinks about. I was pretty clear i do not want this relationship anymore, since everything he did i can't erase, and the spark is gone. He is so spoiled and mamas boy. He wanted me to mother him sometimes. i think he says he is Sorry about things i told him because he knows i think its wrong. Not because he sees that. Why is he so obsessed over us?
