To anyone who reads my fics on ao3:

They will be set to registered users only from the coming weekend (1st weekend in May) because of the AI scrape. The older ones are from today but The Royal House and Burnt Bread are both getting some traffic, so I wanted to warn anyone who doesn’t have an account to look into getting one.

AI is unethical, irresponsible, and just plain fucking lazy - it has no place in fandom and using fanfic to train it is a violation that will not be forgotten.

hey boy don't kill yourself. green's dictionary of slang is available online and allows you to explore 500 years of english vulgarity. you can search by part of speech, source, time period, etymology, and usage. there's a whole category for gay slang. they even have specific citations listed so you can see the exact context for yourself. boy did you know that in 1927 "to kneel at the altar" was slang for "to sodomize"

When you give a character an undefined power, like ‘battle magics’ as a random example that has nothing to do with anything, and realise months later that you… you actually need to to define it??? You need to make it a Thing™️ or you’ve just made a big deal out of nothing!
