Socialization during COVID-19

Socialization during COVID-19 is very important after months of staying at home and not being able to go out or hangout with friends or visiting your favorite spot in the neighborhood or being anxious about your health and safety and not even being able to see your family if you are stuck in some other city or country. It’s okay not to feel good and get bored in such condition but what is known is that COVID-19 is still very much present in our world, and it's not going away anytime soon. Here socialization with the help of social media plays a great role. We all should remain connected with each other in this tough time. Nowadays with the help of ever advancing technology we can connect with anyone round the globe in fraction of seconds.
There are a lot different ways to socialize without even stepping out of your home:
Spend time with your family or whosoever is your quarantine partner use this time to bond with them by diving household chores or eating meals together, playing games or challenging each other for a particular act or exercise. It will become even more fun when you will include people far away through video call or any social media.
It is a perfect time to connect with your friends through phone or video calls or social media. Plan a game night or surprise your friend by live streaming his/her birthday with other friends of yours or sharing memes with them to lighten their mood.
Plan a movie night with your friends and family, there are plenty of apps which gives us the facility to watch movie together at the same time.
Utilize this time to reconnect with people who used to be very close and have drifted away due to lack of time or hectic schedule.
Share pictures of each other or memes or music or motivational quotes or upload pictures that never really made it to social media, comment on each other’s post, etc.
When you will change your lookout and start thinking about the whole scenario with a positive attitude, you will find a lot many ways to stay connected with your family, peers and yet do your own things. Our tiniest effort reminds other that they are not forgotten and definitely not alone during this pandemic!
