this is beautiful

I saw that pencil bottle post of yours and it's actually helping me. I bought a glass bottle and some wood pencils to try it out, and I'm drawing a Lot more. I have a hard time drawing more because I always agonize over a perfect finished product, and I feel like I waste materials when I don't. But now I'm making something else by creating even crappy doodles and it's very motivating. You don't have to answer, I just wanted to say thank you.

Thank you for letting me know, this was moving to read. I’m glad to hear that lil trick is giving you an easier time with arts. Idk. To me there’s also that tiny bit of glee in me over picking some pencil and thinking “Ha I’m going to use you up next.”I don’t fill up my bottles as fast as I used to, because I work a lot more digitally nowadays. But I brought this small bottle with me to my dorm which better fits the current pace.

Who Will Survive the Night, a Visual Novel

A face, over there, in the tree you say? Surely not, detective, this is no haunted house, I assure you. Any bumps in the night are entirely mundane. One moment, these old doors are quite stiff. Ah there we are. Please, after you. I must say, I am glad that you have come, the other guests are all… well quite strange to be frank. But, the mistress insisted, so here you all shall be. Please, make yourself comfortable. Would you care for some tea? The other investigators are almost here, and then we will see… Who Will Survive the Night.

Ahem… I apologise detective, I have a fondness for dramatics. Fear not, of course you will all survive! I am… quite sure of it. Do you take sugar?

Ahh exciting!! An announcement!!

So way back in November an overly ambitious me wrote a short intro for a project I was very much not ready to start working on, but I have finally taken the plunge and started working on the plot and the first sprite!

Do you like visual novels? Mysteries to be solved? A mad conglomeration of genres? A dash of Eldritch creatures? Magic? Old mansions full of dead ends? Art development? 

If you gave a hearty yes to any of those, then welcome friend, to Bellefair Manor. Will you prove yourself a worthy detective and solve the mysteries of the marshes, or will you fall before the clock strikes dawn?

like there was an issue with the Unsplash.com servers and within an hour I had 3 different people in my github issues letting me know my js module’s Unsplash api calls were failing...

And let me tell you if I had thought more than one person had ever downloaded that module I would have added better error messages a lot sooner 😂
