I’ve always found it interesting that people consider tmylm to be a romantic song because to me it’s more of a song about being too dependent on someone and thinking you can’t live without them

Even in the music video they’re fighting right until they decide to get married and then in the end Demi imagines him leaving only to be the one who actually leaves because she finally realised this isn’t healthy.

And during the second to last “everything I need, is standing in front of me” she points at herself in the mirror because she knows now.
