I love my commes de garçons. Been dying to put them on Sora and Riku.

I really, really enjoyed working on this flower crown of thorns, dahlias, and cherry blossoms.

This particular drawing consumed a weekend. My brain wouldn’t let me rest until I finished it.

This was meant to be a two parter... might finish the other half one day.

My first time incorporating Arabic into a piece that isn’t just my name. 

الملوك — Kings. I tried to make crowns that would fit both of them.

My first piece of the revival of my drawing streak. So grateful.

I remember seeing an Adidas floral shirt that I really, really wanted. 

Because I was trying to budget/save money, I hoped that drawing it on a lady would satisfy the craving. It totally did! I need to remember to do this this year.

I remember what the week was like when I was working on this painting. I would begin with one layer, and go to work unable to stop thinking about her. I would get to work only to wish I was back home working on the next layer. Then, I’d get home and put another layer down for 10 minutes and have to wait hours just to be sure I can work on top of it. A labor of love.  I love her. I wanted this to become a flower girl series as my first exploration into watercolors. Maybe I still will... some day. It’ll be a year this summer.

I still remember this train ride... and I really loved how this whole gif set came out. Now I just need to remember how to do this for my work trip to France...

The train ride, in order of appearance. Such beautiful plains, mountains, and diverse architecture all around. I’m noticing a very modular trend/structure that is pervasive, and I wonder about its relationship to the written scripts. Chicken or egg.

I still remember having so, so much fun painting his face. Still probably the easiest person for me to draw, even though I haven’t drawn him in ages.
