Letter to You

I like you. You make me laugh and smile, we have a lot of things on common like love for music, gaming, food, similar love languages. We gravitate towards each other and people already think we're dating. We truly click well and vibe. We have similar political, social justice, etc beliefs despite not sharing religious beliefs and both of us are liberal.

There's no point in liking you because we are not what the other person wants:

You want someone who likes fitness and is active, and smaller in size. You want someone 20-30 years old and I'm a couple years older than your limit. You are an atheist and want someone who also doesn't believe or at least not as overly religious. You don't want children. Sex before marriage is something you think is important and you think waiting is a waste of time and just not compatible to your needs. You use weed/smoke.

I am dealing with a lot of health issues. I'm morbidly obese and not active. Some of it is not wanting to be and some of it is preexistinghealth issues that cause me pain to walk for long periods of time. I've lost 30+ pounds in the last 8 months but no matter how much I weight I'm never going to have a nice enough body for you or anyone for that matter. I have hyperpigmentation on my thighs, pubic area, scars and other stuff wrong with me.

I don't want to have sex at all due to being taught I can't till marriage and also having a low, nonexistent sex drive. I'm ugly looking down there and overall unappealing. You and I would look ugly together because I am fat and you're not even 165lbs. I weight probably 100-120lbs more than you and you're my height. I don't like weed or using any types of drugs and not like the thought of my partner using them. I know my aversions to things make me look like a loser. I want someone who believes in God to sit with me at church and enjoy service too.

Despite us getting along so well and you initiating contact as much as I do or more I know we're just friends. You have talked to and dated 2 or 3 people in the time we've known each other and I'm not even on your radar at all.

I need to stop liking you. I'm happy to have you as my friend and want to keep you in my life even after you leave the city and move on and find someone else.

All you'll ever be is a friend. I have to be fine and grateful for that.

Sometimes I just wish I wasn't here anymore and everything could just stop.

I don't amount to anything and no one wants me. My job pays my bills and I'm grateful for it but no matter what I do above what my responsibilities are I can't get a promotion and I've been applying to a bunch of different places and don't get a reply or I get an interview and don't get the job. I have had interview training and my resume is really good and I've had mentors help but I'm not getting anything.

Then it's stupid to be upset about the stuff I'm upset about because people are getting shotb and murdered point blank in Ukraine, people are homeless or hungry, abused and every other issue. Most of my issues are my fault anyway. If I didn't overeat then I wouldn't be fat. If I worked harder I could get a better job. If I wasn't fat and stopped being awkward around people maybe someone would like me. I had opportunities and money growing up and let insecurities and my stupidity and excuses mess it up. I'm just fucking stupid.

I'm ugly and fat and have a bunch of health issues and I hate myself. I wouldn't ever kill myself because that's selfish and stupid to do but I'm sick of all of this.
