📣 Announcement 📣 After careful consideration is with a heavy heart, we are announcing our a beloved dance studio will be closing on Nov 21, 2025. This marks our anniversary of when we first had our physical location and pushed hard to create a safe space for dancer, students, performers, and teachers of all kinds of people who need a warm hug and encouragement.

Having a dance studio and all that comes with it has been a life goal, the answer to many needs in the community, and a labor of love. Over the years, we faced many challenges (some of which we knew being the scope of our approach to being a beacon for unbiased acceptance, healing, support, and opportunity for those whom may not have gotten one.)

We are happy to have helped and educated many, made lovely connections, promoted and advertised others, and hoped to continue to make a positive impact in the Kentuckiana area and the US. But with community based services, events, and outreach; if there is no longer a need it is time to let go.

We have a few upcoming events remaining this year, and may put on some special occasion events in the future. But for the most part unless things change, our sacred energy will pull back into the ether.

Tahulla will be available for some performances, workshops/speciality classes, mentorships, and travel opportunities. We will keep our contact info the same for those inquiries.

The Online Store Sacred Devi Wear will be closing on May 31, 2025. We have some up coming vending events and a few things after that date for those wishing to make purchase. Many of the sacred items will be available at our retail locations and/or created a special request. Our specialty spiritual services will be available upon special request as well.

Thank you to the positive forces that helped us to light the way, those whom joined us on stage, the amazing collaborations, and dream building. Thank you for your friendship and kindness. It has been much appreciated.

Good morning. I’m only going to say this once.

In the next couple of weeks when food and commodities become a luxury, do not waste food, herbs, and commodities if you cannot afford it. And do not guilt anyone into using the last remnants of what they have if it comes down to nourishing themselves.

The largest spiritual vessel that you have is yourself. When you nourish yourself, you’re able to do good works. But being wasteful with supplies is how a lot of terrible spiritual practices came about. A lot of times the food items in question that became mystified are part of the Diaspora and Indigenous sources.

Not everybody grew up with finishing your whole plate, don’t take more than what you need, and don’t let things go to waste. But this is your time to learn though. Some of us who grew up with parents and grandparents who went through the great depression, and all the other scarcity periods in the last hundred years. We have a lot more wisdom than those that did not grow up that way.

This doesn’t mean to become a hoarder, but it does mean you should be mindful as best as you can. And don’t get jealous of those whom have more than you. It’s not gonna help your situation to be in a bout of jealousy. Focus your attention on what you can do for yourself to be sustainable and focused. Nobody has time for the foolishness or competitive insecurities. Maintain proper mental health, check in with your friends and family. (If you have them) Seek out proper support, and don’t be blindsided by the bullshit.

Sometimes I feel a bit overwhelmed I play in dirt. :) It’s winter and I can’t be out in the garden, but I enjoy playing in the indoor garden. I was suppose to repot this burgundy rubber tree months ago, but tonight seems like the right time. It has grown since I acquired it last year. It’s already in the new pot, but got to get it out of the old one. The old pot is about 20yrs old and the previous owner told me it was going to fall apart. I was happy to just so happened to have a bigger pot when it needed to be moved. It’s really beautiful.
