People asked for Viera. People asked for Blue Mage. People asked for Dancer. People asked for a more ‘beastly’ looking race rather than just Hyur with tails and ears/horns. You’re getting Viera. (I’ll also add that even if they added males, it wouldn’t be the lithe skinny bunboys y’all are dreaming of, according to the concept art they’d be muscular and large.) You got Blue Mage. You’re getting Dancer. And you’re getting a more beastly looking race rather than just Hyur with tails and ears/horns. I get that people are disappointed. You’re allowed to be disappointed. But the level of salt and temper tantrums over it, the threats to unsub are ridiculous. You’re getting what you wanted but not in the exact way you wanted it, when the dev team was already busy working on SHB, in addition to the SB patches, hotfixes, getting ready for the datacenter shifting, implementing world visits, and trying to make sure that the CONTENT is up to what we expect. The majority of the subscriber base cares more about the quality of content and gameplay. I see so many people posting wonderful screens of gorgeous characters and now you’re going to unsub because the dev team did the best they could with the time and money they had? They did their best to fulfill each of the requests. They couldn’t give us all of everything we asked for, so they did their best to give us a little bit of each thing. And at the end of the day, they don’t owe us any promises about the future, because we’re all here acting like spoiled children and they’re having to be a parent afraid to make a promise they might not be able to keep for reasons beyond their control. Cut them a break, seriously. Look at all the content we’ll be getting. Look at the world visit system. Look at how they tried their best to fulfill each request, if only partially, and you all are flipping out and screaming about how everything sucks now all of a sudden because some people didn’t get what they wanted in the exact specific way they wanted it. 

You’re allowed to be disappointed! I’m disappointed I’ll be waiting another 2 years in the hopes of getting a new healing class but disappointment doesn’t give you the right to be shitty human beings on the forums and towards people who are likely being worked into exhaustion and sickness trying to make everyone happy. 

So sure. Go ahead and unsub. It’s your right, it’s your money and if you’re that unhappy about it, then withhold your money. Take it elsewhere. But just remember that we asked for several things and they actually managed to partially fill each order while working on what looks to be the biggest expansion yet, and making it so we can visit friends in the datacenter.

Back from MCM! bit of a quiet weekend but I feel that was partly my fault due to having like literally zero prep time. I completed this lovely tiefling for Codi. I had a wonderful time making it. Now that convention is over, and soon to be inktober I can focus on actually clearing my client list. So if you’re expecting a commission from me expect an email soon <3
