me, internally: thinking about that one scene in les mis after seeing most of the amis for what they trully were (fighters, yes, but so scared and so young) where instead of running away from his inevitable death and despite previously jokingly antagonising enjolras in the meetings, grantaire stands by his side so he does not have to die alone, and then their bodies fall amongst their friends and spill out of the window like a flag or a sign that yes, they might be dead but they died united as everyone should be against the “dark oppression” that they face and that just proves that-
