"Nulus Fatem, nisi quod nos facimus!"

Last of the Bleach of the Gods Transformation comics; Julius Belmont, our resident mostly-regular human. We recently discovered just before I started this whole thing that of the characters walking into the final fight, all of us have a magical girl transformation of sorts, and Julius does not. And I had a giggle at the idea of him feeling left out and making up his own, with glitter and sparklers.

Thats right; this whole series has been the run-up to a joke!

Of course he still looks cool, cus his upgraded Vampire Killer (Nulus Fatem) does in fact get very glowy when he activates it's God mode. In my head I always pictures this scene in doodle form too, which does help for the comedic delivery, but I wanted it to stay in style with the others.

this did let me design his vague ideas for Julius' new armoured jacket, and finally get his trademarked leapord print into it. This is certainly a blending of how Julius has always been described on our RPG, and his 18y in the future/in game self.

I'll put the set up together in the que for some time =3.

the Transformation comic series together, a intended, with set up & punchline.

this was fun, It had me really thinking about page layout and panels, which is always the bit about comic making that intimidates me. It now intimidates me less.

A silly thought that started with imagining Zoey cosplaying Derpy (the tiger) and then realising Mira and Sussy (the bird) have the same energy, and it spiraled from there.

I probably should have saved this for Halloween, but yall are getting it now. Rumi is Jinu, she's painted on his patterns.

there's a trend goign around Instagram of people drawing the first generation from Kpop Demon Hunters as if they came from thier home country/culture, and I wanted to do mine.

so here's celtr/x, the first generation if it was set in Scotland. I really love how this turned out, and doing a little bit of reaserch into my own culture for it =3.

fun fact: two of the tartain above were worn at my wedding. One is the family tartain of my dads side, and another is my husband's family tartain.

I wanted to draw more KPDH, but I've been pretty destracted with this magical girl transformation project series & Art Fight. I finally found a moment of time and drew Zoey.

Week 4(.5) Last ArtFIght dump for this year.

Last week was too busy to have time for Art fight, so I only got the one piece done (to left). and again another picture too way too long this week, so all I had time for was chibi's.

I really enjoyed doing this. It was stressful at most times, and I didn't get very many attacks which is a bit disheartening, but I had fun drawing everyone's awesome cool characters and seeing the joy in peoples replies to them, and that's what it's really all about, so I'm cool with that.

Will attempt to join in again next year if the stars align for me to remember this event happens before the back end of July ^^;

Another Magical Girl Transformation; this time Eleanor Horowitz, our resident Quincy. Her new suped up bow Terebellum also gives her armour that can be traded for effects, so it's pretty magical girl when she activates it.

Terebellum is a type of shell, but also is one fo the stars that makes up the constelation of Sagittarus (the Archer). Eleanor has a whole lot of space themeing what with her other bow being the Light of Orion (previously depicted many years ago), so she gets space star effects.

also maybie taking some sfx cues from a certain recently released movie for the strands that form her armour >.> <.<

Reading the new checks that might come in due to the Online Safety Act in the UK and this is actually bullshit

And how will I prove my age?

There’s a number of methods a site or app might use to ask you to confirm your age. They might do this check themselves or use another company to do the check. These methods include:

Facial age estimation – you show your face via photo or video, and technology analyses it to estimate your age. 

Open banking – you give permission for the age-check service to securely access information from your bank about whether you are over 18. The age-check service then confirms this with the site or app.

Digital identity services – these include digital identity wallets, which can securely store and share information which proves your age in a digital format.

Credit card age checks – you provide your credit card details and a payment processor checks if the card is valid. As you must be over 18 to obtain a credit card this shows you are over 18.

Email-based age estimation – you provide your email address, and technology analyses other online services where it has been used – such as banking or utility providers - to estimate your age.  

Mobile network operator age checks – you give your permission for an age-check service to confirm whether or not your mobile phone number has age filters applied to it. If there are no restrictions, this confirms you are over 18. 

Photo-ID matching – this is similar to a check when you show a document. For example, you upload an image of a document that shows your face and age, and an image of yourself at the same time – these are compared to confirm if the document is yours.

Not only is this such a fucking breach of privacy, but this is going to hurt adults in vulnerable and abusive situations. Some adults don’t have bank accounts or credit cards or even a fucking phone. I’m one of them. I could not give half of this information even if I wanted to. What the fuck is this. Fuck the UK government. This isn’t going to protect kids, this is just going to hurt adults, and I know full well when they say “sites that allow pornography” they’re going to be going after sites that have huge amounts of queer content, like tumblr and Ao3. Queer kids are gonna lose their fucking communities because of this shit. Abuse victims are going to lose online support systems because of this.

I’m genuinely fucked off about this, and worried about whether I’m going to lose every single one of my online friends. Anyone in the UK, please email your MP and sign this petition. It needs to reach 100k signatures to pass through Parliament.

I’m only hoping the backlash will be big enough for them to stop implementing these measures.

Art Fight revenge for @diakiraiart!

"Kami Kai, Uchimono Zen Kireha!" Another Bleach of the Gods transformation comic page. This time it's Maigo's Uber-Bankai (Kami Kai).

I wanted to have Maigo cutting through the page transition, as Kireha is hte all cutting blade, and Maigo doesnt' really do flash/ doesnt have a described transition.

Her Player, @aerocon described her with gladiator armour, as this form of Maigo is all offence no defence. We decided to use a more japaneese/samurai design to better honour her heritage. Kireha is also so thin/sharp it's just reishi, so is practically invisable, bar the crimson chi that connects her and Mulan's souls.

We've recently in our bleach fo the Gods game been talking about all our magical girl transformations, so it got me thinking about how to comicly represent Mulans full, straight up magical girl transformation - with sparkles and a cutscene.

A commission a friend asked me to do for them ofr the Bleach of the Gods game he's running. Naoki & Mulan's climactic clash. Once I finally got the composition down I really enjoyed working on this, and the fire effects were so much fun. the Client was really happy with it too -^^- .

I acutally started thinking of this just from listening to "What is sounds like" on repeat for about a day before seeing the movie. I have so many other ideas now tho, so there will be more.
