A/n: This is my second writing on here so I hope you like it! I’m so sorry that this took forever to post since school has me constantly busy.

You and Diana have been dating for around a year, the two of you met at the Louvre since both of you worked there too soon find out that you got hired by the Justice League. “Hey y/n there’s a unique new artifact that we got, do you think you could check it out in the back?” One of your worker friends asks you. “Sure thing!” You reply. You get up from your desk and walk towards the back room, when you open the door you see a large worn out wooden box with lots of dents and scratches on it. “Jeez what’s in here that could be torn up.” You think out loud, so you pry open the top of the box to reveal an ancient staff covered in dust. You wipe the dust off it to see writings and carvings all over it you turn the staff over and a red gleaming light at the top of it catches your eye, you get a closer look to see a gemstone on the top. Its ruby red color amazes you but the second your hand touches it the gem glows bright as this warm sensation burns on your hand then suddenly it fades back to normal. You shake your head and look at your hand to see nothing, you push what happened away thinking it was all in your head. At least that’s what you thought.

2 weeks later…

It’s that time again the day before another big mission the Justice League has it typically where everyone gets tested to make sure nothing's wrong, of course you were last Bruce walked up to you and waved this stick that detects anything wrong with you. As he waves it around you this searing pain happens inside of you. The second the stick almost touches your skin you scream out in pain. “AGH! STOP! PLEASE IT BURNS!” Everyone turns around but Bruce doesn’t listen and it’s your breaking point, when all the sudden you feel this wave of power come over you. The next couple of seconds was a blur to you one moment Bruce was standing next to you and the next he’s laying against the wall wincing in pain. You take a step forward to ask what happened but you’re stopped. “Y/n don’t take another step forward.” Clark demands. “I don’t get it, what happened?” You ask to only see all of the Justice League looking down not answering. “JUST GO HOME Y/N!” “But I don’t even-” “GO HOME!” Bruce yells, you start to feel tears roll down your cheeks. “Y/n wait!” Diana call out to you but it’s too late you’re already walking out of the building. “What are we gonna do with her?” Barry asks with concern. “Well I know what I’m gonna do with her, she’s gonna get fired!” Bruce declares. “Bruce please don’t! Y/n is not worth letting go!” Diana pleads. “Diana is right we don’t exactly know what came over y/n, tomorrow we can see if this “incident” happens again during our mission okay?” Clark assures. “Fine.” Bruce groans.

And before you know it you’re on the battlefield fighting against aliens the next day. “Nice job y/n!” Arthur hoots causing you to laugh since you just knocked out seven aliens at once, but as you’re laughing you feel this burning inside of you causing you to collapse. When you get back up you feel anger and power inside of you and you’re not the same. “Diana look!” Bruce shouts pointing towards you. Your eyes are a fiery red color and you begin to run towards the Justice League. “Barry go try and stop her!” Bruce yells. Barry dashes towards you until you punch him straight in the face knocking him down with a powerful force. “Arthur go do something!” Arthur tries to knock you down with a huge tide current but you remain standing still walking towards them with anger. “We have to put her down she must be possessed by something!” Clark says. “No! Please don’t maybe I can save her soul!” Diana pleads. “No Diana it’s too dangerous-” But Diana is already walking towards you and she puts her hands on your shoulders and looks into your eyes. “My love it’s me please come back to me!” As Diana’s looking at you she doesn’t realize that you’re pushing her towards the edge of where you’re standing. “Y/n please don’t do this I know you’re in there!” But it’s too late. Your eyes turn back to a dark brown. “Y/n is that you?!” Diana asks. “Diana what happened?” You look around to see everyone still fighting until you look down and see a sword has been stabbed in you and you collapse into Diana’s arms. “Diana I’m so sorry but I’m not gonna make it.” “No, no, but you will!” Diana cries. “I’m sorry it had to end this way but I love you more than anything in this world.” You say as tears fill your eyes you cup her face with your hands and connect your lips together it’s sweet and soft. “Diana I love you.” “Y/n please don’t! I love you too!” Diana pleads, you smile into her warm and loving eyes one last time and then your heart stops.

Warm and cozy

A/n: This is also a piece for @mahvericks 3k contest and this is my first writing on here so I hope you like it!

“Just you and Diana.” Bruce said firmly but this was different Barry never asked to tag along like he usually does and then you started to panic inside your head. Just you and Diana. Alone. You’ve had feelings for her since the moment you saw her she was stunning as you looked over to Diana while Bruce was talking she looked back at you and gave you that warm smile that melts your heart every time. “Y/N are you paying attention?” You snap out of your state to see Bruce looking down on you very pissed with his ice cold eyes locked on you. “Ummmm.. Yeah.” “Well you’d better be!” Your mission with Diana was to go to this small town in the mountains and capture this meta human. “Go on now.” Bruce waved off you and Diana the two of you walked out of the building and were off. 

You both talked every now and then but mostly enjoyed the view but once night falls the snow got heavier. “I can’t see that well while driving I think we’re gonna need to stay somewhere for the night.” Says Diana. “Okay.” You replied she pulled the car over to this cute little cozy cabin out in the distance in the woods. “We’ll stay here for the night.” “Who owns it?” you ask. “I do actually I just don’t visit that much, come along we don’t need you to catch a cold.” Diana winked at you and hopped out of the car you followed along the walk to the cabin was very short. When you arrive to the front door Diana fishes out her keys out of her pocket and unlocks the door with a soft click. “One second let me turn on the lights.” She says then the whole room lights up to reveal a kitchen straight ahead, a hallway to the right and a living room to the left. “Sorry it’s been a while since I’ve stopped by but feel free to crash on the couch if you want.” She smiles at you so you decide to take off your shoes and coat and walk to the living room there’s a fireplace,some couches,and chairs around the space everything is nice and tidy but cozy and cute at the same time.

 Diana walks in and starts a fire. “Oh I bet you’re cold! Let me grab you a blanket and then we can relax.” “No! You really don’t need to!” But as you protest she pulls a huge thick sherpa blanket out of a basket and tosses it to you. “Thanks.” “No problem.” She pulls out another one and wraps it around herself. Then sits by the fireplace. “Come sit by me y/n” “Alright if you insist you reply playfully she laughs at your comment her bubbly laugh always gives your stomach butterflies and makes it feel like your stomach flips over once maybe even twice. As you sit down across her she pulls out her phone and plays Ed Sheeran throughout the living room. “Do you ever think about your future?” Diana asks. “I mean I guess but not too often.” You reply. “I tend to and honestly I worry about ending up single.” “What?! How could someone so beautiful like you end up single?!” Diana’s eyes widen and you cover your mouth at what you just said.Shit. “I’m so sorry that was wrong of me to say that I should just go.” You get up but a strong firm hand grabs you by the wrist. “Wait! Don’t go y/n I like you too!” You freeze shocked to what you just heard you decide to turn around to see Diana looking at you pleadingly. “Really?” You ask. “Yes! Ever since I first seen you! I was just scared that you wouldn’t like me back.” 

You sit back down the fire illuminating her face to show her beautiful tan skin and black shiny soft hair along with plush lips with the color of a rose you couldn’t help it you lean in and connect your lips to hers. Soft and sweet but at the same time both your lips fit together perfectly with the music playing softly in the background. Fireworks explode everywhere inside you as Diana’s warm hands presses softly against your neck and she pulls you deeper into the kiss you open your mouth a little to allow her tongue to explore you feel her arms wrap around your waist and then you both fall onto the ground.”Wow.” “Yeah.” Diana replies both of you face each other you look into her brown warm and loving eyes she smiles and crashes her soft lips against yours both your lips move against each other begging for more but you both pull apart to catch some air. “I love you y/n.” “I love you too Diana.” She rolls you over and pulls you up against her.As you lay next to her she buries her head in the crook of your neck and hums softly as you hearts beat next to each other in perfect sync. The warmth of her body against yours makes you sleepy before you shut your eyes you inhale her vanilla scent and fall asleep in her arms.
