They starve the people in plain sight. Give them pennies so they can only afford fast food if they want a place to live. The fast food makes them fat and malnourished. They don't LOOK starving but they are. Starve the people, make them look well fed, gaslight them into thinking it's their fault they can't afford better quality food. Make better quality food far too expensive and hard to find. Disguise bad food for healthy. Tell them THEY are lazy and don't work enough and that , THAT is why they are fat. 40 hours a week won't buy an apartment and barely groceries for a family. Fast food keeps up the facade of well fed people because hunger, is one of the first of many causes of revolution.
