Some of y'all are truly uncritically transphobic toward trans men and it's kinda disgusting.

I see y'all calling a trans guy's chest "mutilated" or "gross" after his top surgery. I see y'all making fun of our voices, or the way we don't (or can't) pass, or calling our facial hair "neckbeards," or making fun of our sexualities, or just because we're existing as we naturally are.

Trust me when I say trans men see your infantilization of us and how you'll treat us as broken women or how you'll only recognize us but only when we're able to be weaponized. Or how we're erased from history and from narratives of trans liberation.

I see how our transness gets erased to call us gross for being men, or how our status as men is erased to call us confused, broken women.

Transphobia toward trans men hurts the entire community. An injustice for one of us is an injustice for us all.

Please reblog, but don't belittle trans mens' real experiences or our experiences with transphobia.

If you don't get a child diagnosed, they won't grow up thinking "I'm a normal kid", they'll grow up thinking "it's my fault I'm not a normal kid." So don't think you're doing a child a favor by not telling them what they're going through. That won't prevent struggling - it will only result in them blaming themselves for their struggles instead of blaming the real culprit.

Sometimes I think about how if fruits basket got a 2020 reboot it's entirely possible for other shows to come back so I propose No. 6 2021 reboot but with 24 episodes and it follows the novels and then at the end there's an OVA for the Beyond extra and it sets up a movie titled Reunion AND THEY LIVE HAPPILY EVER AFTER thanks for coming to my Ted talk

so i’ve never been good at anything art related. i’m not good at drawing or painting or putting things together or building stuff and all of that jazz

so i assumed all my life that i wouldn’t enjoy doing art in my day to day life. since i wasn’t good at it, i assumed i wouldn’t enjoy it

but over quarantine, i’ve started to do art journaling and painting with water colors and i’ve been having so much fun

are these drawings or paintings any good? no they’re awful.

but i still enjoy doing them despite that they’re not pretty.

let yourself be mediocre or bad at an activity and still enjoy it.

you don’t have to be perfect at an activity to enjoy it.

let yourself be super shit at something and yet still do that something.

The world according to how transphobes feel:

Trans children: Too young to know! No matter what! Your child could wish to not wake up in the morning in order to be reborn into a different gender and that wouldn't matter! They don't know! My children can know their gender but yours can't because they don't submit to me and my ideals!

Trans teens: Oh you're just hormonal. You don't need therapy or medical help for this - this will go away. Stop being crazy! We won't listen to you!

Trans adults: This is a new thing! You never showed signs of this! You're faking this to be predatory! You're trying to steal my children away! If you even want the chance for medical intervention, you better be good at answering questions about everything bad thats ever happened to you so we can deny said healthcare to you. Oh, and it'll be your fault because you didn't submit to us or our ideals.
