I imagine this has been said before but I was watching the wrap up and I think it's really sweet the way Robbie has been so embraced by the cast and the community.

A big part of Critical Role is the friendship between the cast and Robbie really feels like one of the gang. It gives me the warm and fuzzies. 🥰

To be clear, a lot of the conflict in CR tumblr today goes back to when a small group of people gained some attention for their opinions and writings on story, characters etc. They gained a lot of followers who praised them and propped them up, and the idea that their views carried more weight in the fandom became part of their identity.

Unfortunately C3 didn't quite go their way. Many fans and even the cast have continued to enjoy things they've hated and attacked over the course of C3, one such example being glasses!Imogen.

It's like a personal attack now when they see all these other people who don't agree with them, and who are having fun where they aren't anymore.

Now they feed their egos through their followers praising them for belittling others in the fandom and making personal attacks. With their followers they have some influence, which they use to try and shut down and discredit opinions and people they don't agree with. If they can't do that by calling you stupid, they'll try to label you a misogynist or some other flavour of problematic.
