i think part of why I have such a low understanding of math is not just learning differently then others. I think part of it is because I was (and still am) embarrassed about it. I didn't want to do the work because then everyone would know how terrible I'm at it. and it never helped when people did 'joke' about it. I'm not sure why I ever considered those people friends.

I currently struggle with grade 5 maths. I can do the easier multiplication and a few harder ones, and I'm only able to do the easier division. I am bad at math. some people may call me dumb because of that, and some have called me dumb because of it. but its not my fault
