Everyone: You do realize this ban only hurts the people producing legal content, right? Like, those small pages posting illegal stuff never tag their pages appropriately, and don’t care about having to remake a new blog if theirs gets nuked because they can just make a new burner account to post that stuff again.

Staff: …

Everyone: The only adult content that will likely be spreading around would be the illegal content, since you are strong-arming the legally-abiding and responsible adult content creators who take care to tag and label their content and not post anything that’s god damn illegal.

Staff: …

Everyone: That’s also assuming that there won’t be people that just continue posting adult content, either with censor bars or cuts to bypass the adult content check, or by just posting whatever anyway and not caring.

Staff: …

Everyone: None if this even addresses the racism problems that people did have, including the adult bloggers you are now getting rid of. You can’t just get rid of text posts or images of disgusting rheotoric unless there’s a nipple in the mix, yeah?

Staff: …

Everyone: Speaking of which, this new plan of yours still requires moderation, which is seemingly the main responsibility you are actively dodging with this adult content ban measure.

Staff: …

Everyone: So now, basically nothing will have changed except for all the responsible adult content creators being gone that made up a decent number of your most active and loyal users, some of the most active critics and filters of racist content users being banned, and the only people being left posting illegal content or blatantly breaking your rules to post legal adult content to spite you.

How did you think this was going to pan out?

Staff: … but we said no adult content tho.

Look, it’s my little boy! 💖

We’re in a hotel for the next few weeks, because I’m traveling for work up in Georgia. But this little boy nearly gave me a heart attack just a couple weeks ago! He ended up needing an emergency vet visit, because of urinary tract blockage, due to bladder stones. Honestly, even after x-rays and medication, I thought I was gonna lose him, since I managed to get enough care credit secured for his initial visit, but knew I wouldn’t be able to afford hospitalization if he were to remain blocked up. Luckily he finally passed the blockage, and with 2 weeks of medication (which he hated with a passion) and new, special (and expensive) urinary health food to help keep more stones from forming, he’s doing well again.

Anyway, I just wanted to post this picture of him, because he is adorable. 😊 Hard to believe he was once a street cat, but I sure am glad he followed me home that day back in June! 💖

Got a nice new pot, two new plants, some rocks, and a bag of cactus/succulent potting soil and put it all together with my older (and kinda sad, lol) succulents!

I’m going away for a work trip next week, and I have to hope my coworkers will keep my plants alive while I’m gone. Gonna put my basil in a bigger pot too, but it’s not as nice looking as these, so no pictures! 😅

the pride and prejudice musical we deserve:

darcy doesn’t sing a single note even during conversations where everyone else is singing at him that is until the argument following his first attempt at proposing to lizzy where you can see his restraint fall away

his first big solo is the letter he writes her

gelsey bell is mary and the unofficial narrator and she sits down at her piano to describe whats going on but before she can ever reveal her feelings on the matter, starting with that gelsey bell scream, mr bennet comes over and does the whole ‘that’s nice dear but give someone else a turn’

mr wickham has this huge ballad about how darcy ruined his life and its super melodramatic and touching

mr collins proposal to lizzy is an absolute bop that he gets so into he forgets for a moment what he’s doing he’s just owning the stage

wickham has a song where he’s trying to seduce lydia but she’s not even listening she’s just monologuing about how excited she is to get laid

during darcy’s second proposal he keeps hesitating waiting for lizzy to interrupt him like she has done every time before but she doesn’t say anything until he’s finished

at the end mary sits down at the piano and right where she’d usually be interrupted, kitty joins her and harmonises

 jane and bingley have the adorable upbeat romantic duet which is just them being super polite like ‘oh so nice to have you here’ ‘so nice to be here’ interspersed with their inner monologue which is just them being like fucking jesus I’m so in love

the bingley sisters probably have a really cool mean solo

lady catherine has this terrifying disney villain song in the garden

there’s for sure a song about ribbon shopping
