how do you stay locked in during a fast? what helps you focus away from being hungry?
𝐟𝟒𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭!𝐩𝐬!
for me usually, i’m always a busy person anyway, doing homework, working at my job, cleaning my apartment, taking care of my cats. i know not everyone lives that lifestyle though so here’s some things i used to do before i got so busy:
- chores
- take a walk around the neighborhood
- do a puzzle or play a game
- drink water!!
- read a book
- study something interesting, even if it isn’t for school
- chewing gum
obviously everyone’s f4st will have different rules they set for themselves, for me personally I prefer l1qu1d f4sting, so here’s tips for that too!
- add a 0 kc4l / 0 sug4r packet to your water
- 2tbsp apple cider vinegar in your morning water (helps with bl0ating)
- tea!!!! my favs are mint tea and cinnamon tea
- bone broth (a lot of health benefits, literally packed with vitamins)
also, i’m hypoglycemic, so low blood sugar is a common occurrence for me so if you’re ever experiencing a crash because of a f4st i recommend:
- fruit / fruit smoothie
- half of a nutrition shake
- a tbsp of honey
