Sure, dearie! A bit vague, but I'll try to do my best, hope you like it. Before we begin, to all newcomers to fanfiction: Y/N = Your name GN! Reader: Gender Neutral reader And in this fic, Italics are thoughts and quotes are speech. Summary: You're working at a coffee shop part-time when a certain someone walks in. Post Imprisonment, Fluff, and only slight suggestive dialogue from May. (Come on she's APRIL MAY OF COURSE SHE HAS SUGGESTIVE DIALOGUE)

April May x GN! Reader || Coffee Shop Cutie

Y/n was working at a coffee shop, and it was around 8 o'clock in the morning, golden rays of sunlight peeking through the curtains. They yawned, stretching their arms as they wiped the counter clean. People should begin to file in at about 8:30 or nine... they thought absentmindedly while cleaning the mugs and the coffee pot. A 5'4 brunette woman had walked into the cafe soon after, drumming her fingers against the counter impatiently, asking for a large black coffee. Someone has a long day ahead of them today, I guess- Y/n nodded, immediately getting to work on making the woman a large mug of coffee, glancing over to the door to see if anyone had walked in yet. Nope, no one. There was nothing to be heard but the sound of the lady drumming her fingers on the counter, and the soft music playing on the cafe speakers. The woman looked tired as if she hadn't slept in a day or two. Once the coffee was ready and placed in front of her, the lady didn't think twice before immediately picking it up, paying for the cup, and leaving the cafe in a hurry. "Thanks for visiting, Have a nice-! Ah, Nevermind." Y/n sighed, going back to work. Eventually, two men walked in. One of them, a tall man with short ginger hair, ordered an Espresso. The other man was much shorter, sporting a blonde-haired man bun, and ordered a Latte. Y/n nodded, taking their orders and grabbing two mugs. The two men sat at a table next to the window, talking about the recent murder trial that was all over the papers last night. Apparently, Miles Edgeworth lost once more to the defense attorney Phoenix Wright. They didn't like eavesdropping on customers' conversations much, so they focused back on making the coffees. Y/n was waiting for the coffees to finish when a Pink-haired, 5'2 tall woman walked in and winked at the two men. the taller one blushed, and the ginger winked back. The woman had a playful smirk on her face, then turned to face the Barista who had their back to the counter. "Hello cutie, can I have a Frappe, Please?~" She purred. This caused Y/n to jolt, turning around with their face heated up in embarrassment. "Well?~" She continued. They nodded, shakily making a Frappe for the woman while she filed her nails. While that was being made, the Espresso and Latte were good to go. They put it on a tray, heading over to their table. After handing it to them, Y/n made to return behind the counter when the woman whispered, "Make sure to add extra whipped cream to the Frappe, dear~" This made Y/n go beet red once more, much to the woman's delight. It was cute how easily flustered they got to her. They snapped out of it, nodding as they headed to the counter and doing as asked. So obedient- How cute! The two men finished their drinks, walking up to the counter and paying up, uttering a thank you. The ginger was busy on his phone but winked at the lady before being dragged out of the cafe by his friend. "My name's April May, by the way! What's yours?" May inquired curiously. "The name's Y/n." They answered. "It's sure a great pleasure to meet you, Y/n~" May laughed. "Yeah, you too." They replied, smiling slightly. "Here, your Frappe's ready!" Y/n handed May her coffee, who happily sipped it after thanking her. They were happy she liked it, then got a glass of water for themselves. "Just the right temperature- with just the right amount of cream... Just how I like it, teehee!" She giggled. Y/n nearly spat out all of the water on their apron, but swallowed it. "When does your shift end, by the way?" May asked, looking up into Y/n's E/c eyes. "It ends at 5, why?" They replied, absentmindedly counting the money they'd earned so far. "No reason, just wanted to see if you'd fancy dinner." She said with a flirty smile. "Wh-What?" they replied, even more flustered now. "You heard me. So, is it a yes Y/n?" She asked. "Yes. Yeah, sure why not." They answered, still processing what happened in their mind. I JUST GOT ASKED OUT BY SOMEONE- AT WORK NO LESS? GOSH, I'M LUCKY TODAY- They had to stop themselves from smiling like a dork and then returned to work.

May passed them a neat note with a restaurant's name on it and her number, paying and leaving after blowing a kiss their way.
