I notice that my OC art gets a lot less traction than my Dinosaur stuff, and I think I know why, but I’m hoping that at some point more than a handful of people will like my other stuff lol.

These are some Breeds I had in mind. Most are Single Element, but some are Dual Element. From top to bottom the Breeds are:
Pure Lighting/Thunder (I haven’t decided yet)
Pure Frost
Molten
Pure Metal
Pure Air
Pure Plant
Pure Earth
Pure Fire
Pure Water
Pure Poison
Geyser
Brine
Scald
Some are more inspired by specific dragons in fiction than others, (yes the Scald is based on the Scaldron and the Air based on the Thunderdrum from HtTYD) though some are just inspired by animals that fit the element. For example the Brine Breed is based broadly on Baleen Whales, while the Pure Plant Breed is based on Dreadnoughts specifically.

Dragon Breeding
The main goal of the game would probably be breeding dragons that can help you do any number of tasks better. The method of breeding them would likely be sending two dragons you want to breed to The Ranch.
The Ranch
This area of your house acts as an area where you can breed your dragons for new breeds, as well as storing dragons that you plan on taking with you on adventures, quests, or any number of other in game places.
The Hatchery
After a pair of dragons is finished breeding, you can take the egg(s) to The Hatchery where they will incubate. Some Breeds lay multiple eggs, but have a lower chance at hatching New or Rare Breeds. Other breeds only lay one egg at a time, but need a lot of room to incubate, and even in some cases multiple people to carry the egg to The Hatchery.
Dragon Elements and Breeds
Dragons can be categorized by three groups. Dragon Elements are the broadest category, only having five main elements. After that is the Breed. A Dragon’s Breed is the second broadest category, determining which element combinations it contains, if any. The third and final category is the Species. Each Species has its own name and body type.
Each dragon has one of these, and it isn’t uncommon for dragons to even share everything up to the Species. For example:
Species: Ignitorous
Breed: Pure Fire
Elements: Fire
This would be how it looks for the basic Fire Dragon you’d get at the beginning of the game (the name is definitely up to change, just came up with it for this example). The Breed is labeled as Pure Fire because it’s just the fire dragon. If it was a mix breed, like the Molten Dragon, it may look something like this:
Species: Melgatt
Breed: Molten
Elements: Fire/Earth
I hope this is a bit more easy to understand than the last time. Let me know what you think of this!
