It's not fair to tolerate discomfort to make someone else comfortable. You're not less deserving of joy, rest and happiness than anyone else. I feel like after someone nicely worried about me. I should explain some things:

1. I found out I am mostly Asian , Latino , and Hispanic and middle eastern.

2. Asian Heritage comes from China , Japan , Vietnam , India , and Thailand.

3. Latino is Peruvian.

4. Hispanic is Puerto Rican and Mexican.

5. Middle eastern is Armenian and Turkish.

I have been trying to process that because I am only a small percentage of white, Alters front more than me , I am in college.

I felt you all deserved and explanation post but I am fine. I am hyperfixiating on Genshin so oops but I am fine!

things that don’t make you any less of a person:

not being able to speak

needing 24/7 support

not being able to finish school

not being able to work

having very few (or no) relationships

needing help to make decisions

needing help with bADLs

you don’t have to earn your personhood. you deserve care and respect regardless of what you can or can’t do. you deserve to be treated with dignity and kindness

I do not usually make posts like this but recently I have seen a lot of content on Instagram, Twitter and I think tiktok too misunderstanding the meaning of intrusive thoughts, which may cause people experiencing them to be upset.

I have tried to shortly explain the difference of impulsive and intrusive and hope it will help people to understand and use the words correctly.
