The Parallax Court

An alterate Azeroth roleplay group on Moon Guard. — Where every throne is up for grabs, and fate is just a suggestion.

Welcome to The Parallax Court, a roleplay group in rewriting the fate of Azeroth—not with new kingdoms, but with new rulers. This is an alternate timeline where the seats of power across the Seven Human Kingdoms (and beyond) are inherited not by canon characters… but by your OCs.

Instead, think of it as a sandbox where your OC’s version of Azeroth is the “correct” timeline—just as canon is for Blizzard, this one is yours. The setting loosely begins on the interim of the Second and Third War, and from there? It’s entirely yours to shape.

It is Year 18 (610 K.C.), and the Eastern Kingdoms lie uneasy. The orcish Horde, once a savage wave that nearly drowned humanity, has been shattered. Its survivors languish in internment camps or vanish into the forests and shadows. Yet for all the blood spilled, the Alliance of Lordaeron stands divided. Gilneas has grown distant and disdainful. Stromgarde simmers with resentment. Alterac remains a stain on the map, its treason unanswered. And in Stormwind, still rebuilding from the fires of the First War, the young and restless watch their elders struggle to shape a future that feels increasingly uncertain.

A new generation stands poised to inherit the future. The sons and daughters of kings, queens, generals, and lords—some groomed for greatness, others thrust unwillingly into its shadow—now come of age in a realm on the brink.

More urgently, a new threat brews in the north: the once-thriving granaries of Andorhal have produced a cursed yield. Those who consume it fall ill—some withering, others rising again with unnatural hunger in their eyes. The priests and alchemists of Lordaeron work to contain the plague, but behind the sickness lies a deeper corruption—one seeded not by warlocks or witches, but by agents of the Burning Legion, whose influence now slinks through cracks left by war.

The timeways shimmer here here—and whether this becomes a golden age… or the prologue to something darker… lies in your hands.

I want to mention one thing about the HTTYD live action remake that I've noticed that nobody has brought up so far and I've been scrolling through the tag for hours and hours.

The music.

Now, I know all we have is a trailer but something about it... its the same composer I know but the music feels so wrong, it doesn't have the same power - even when they bring in the main theme it feels... distant and lifeless.

So, I see a lot of people talking about Emmet finding traces of Ingo in museums and such but I'd like to pitch a totally different idea.

Imagine if both Ingo and Emmet saw the museum pieces. Imagine they BOTH saw it FIRST.

They didn't realize what was to come.

And then Ingo goes missing.

Cirrus, God of Obsequies

Did the design for the god of funeral rites and I LOVE THEM SO MUCH. Cirrus is entirely mute, using a symbols and drawings on the ground to speak. They are in charge of making sure that souls make their way to Ylva's domain. (Essentially, Animas' psychopomp).
