The situation in Ferguson right now is, quite frankly, horrifying.

Police officers are there to protect the people, not harass, assault, and even murder innocent civilians.  Let's not turn a blind eye to what's happening to the people of Ferguson.

Anons are not allowed, as we have to make absolutely sure that everyone gets only one vote each.

Would y'all be willing to have guest artist spots in the future for small windows of time (a month or two)? I'd love to help out, but I'm not sure what my schedule currently is and wouldn't want to commit to you only to have to back out.

Of course. The current volunteers will only be sticking around for a month or two anyway, we like to rotate our volunteers every time we start a new donation drive to make it fair on them. Because of this, you cannot volunteer twice in a row. But, we will keep a note of your URL and come back to you at a later date! Thank you very much for offering to volunteer. -Mod D

Just a quick update on what the admins have been doing!!

We're still trying to get this blog started, and we need your help!

We are still currently trying to find a few more volunteer artists! If you want to volunteer, feel free to drop us an ask, or ask your friends if they're interested! Any and all artists are welcome!

We are also looking for suggestions for some charities to look into donating to! If you know of any good charities feel free to let us know about them!

We have also been looking to update our icon and create a mascot for our blog.

One thing that really matters to me is girls' education in third world countries. I don't know any organizations for that... But I do know some for working against sex trafficking! There is the Red Thread Movement, and Tiny Hands International. I have donated my time and money to both of these organizations in the past, and they have really done a lot to help women!

DrawingAid is a blog where artists can come together to raise money for charities and good causes around the world.

A few months ago I managed to get 9 artists together to raise $101, which went straight to the charity  Serbs For Serbs, who provided humanitarian relief to victims of the recent flash flooding in Serbia.

Due to the amazing support we received, the other 2 mods and I have created a blog dedicated to raising more money for people in need of help all over the world.

Currently, we are searching for more volunteer artists, so it would be great if you could signal boost this and tell your friends. Every reblog/ follow counts as we want to reach as wide an audience as possible in order to reach our future goals!

PLEASE READ!!

Okay so, lately things have been pretty rough in Serbia.

The country has suffered from flash flooding due to 2 months worth of rain falling in just 40 hours, this being the heaviest rainfall Serbia has experienced  in 120 years. Thousands have been left stranded and without electricity, people are in desperate need of shelter, food, and clean water, and as if that wasn’t bad enough, the missing/ dead count is currently rising.

I’ve organised a donation drive, with a goal of $100. But fear not! You guys are getting something in return.

We have a total of 8 artists at the ready to draw one image of your choice for each person donating $5+, two images for donating $15+, and two images (plus a surprise) for donating $25+

Still not enough? Well (soon) we’ll also have a range of t-shirts and adoptables for you guys to buy at a reasonable price, so stay tuned!

All donations must be paid to my paypal at devon@sainet.co.uk, along with a note letting us know what the payment is for, and after we reach our goal amount the money will go straight to the non-profit organisation, Serbs for Serbs, who are providing humanitarian aid to the people affected by the floods.
