It’s been way too long since I’ve posted anything to my tumbler but now that I’ve been home for summer break for a bit and am trying to get back into good and productive habits I figure I might as well start posting on my tumbler again!

I don’t know if I’ll do daily posts but I’ll at least try to post weekly or so, I don’t want to tie myself down to a posting schedule I’ll never keep, especially since I shouldn’t need one for an app like this, so I’ll just say expect at least one post a week from me and sometimes bonus posts, as once a week is at least enough to where I won’t just never post here again for months on end.

Also since it’s pride month, aka June for about a week and a half more, I’ll be reposting pride art on here along with my own art!

Oops….

I’ve just been real busy with finals at school coming up and working hard to make new art and comics. I won’t be posting regularly or semi daily until May next when I’m on summer vacation from school, but until then here’s a post to hold you over! It’s a headbust I made for my ceramics elective. The theme was to make a vase that had a self portrait element, I choose to take that somewhat literally on purpose to see if I could sculpt a headbust resembling me, that was also a vase and this was the final result! I’m really happy with how it came out and how shiny the final piece looked once glazed the colors alone probably make this one of my favorite pieces I’ve made out of clay! Hope you enjoy it too! 🥰🌈

This is so real! In my mind all my conversations come out sounding like the astute Daria then I speak and in actuality I’m rambling and doing Tina’s signature Uhhhhhhhhh…while nothing I say sounds coherent.

It’s also the two sides of autistic people because everyone headcannons Daria as autistic especially with the episode boxing Daria basically canonically coding her as such, with scenes like the one seen below, where it literally confirms she’s been the way she is all her life, even before she knew how to consciously rebel against social norms as a means of teenage against or a “statement.”

Slight trigger warning: short clip but it depicts realistic parental fighting over a child struggling to fit in, who finds the arguing overwhelming.

Meanwhile the entire Belcher family is headcannoned autistic especially Tina and Bob, as evident by the song below from the show blowing up particularly as a sound for autistic TikToks!

Oops…sorry about that hopefully this meme repost makes up for it!

I’ve been busy this week during my spring break though! I was helping my family clean out my grandparent's house…they didn’t die or anything! They just moved out of their house to a senior center and such. But everything in their house was going to get donated if the family didn’t take what they wanted, and I know donated items only stay at the thrift for a month then whatever isn’t bought in a month gets tossed into a landfill. So I’ve been taking as much stuff as I can to upcycle it, or give it to people I know could use it at my school, to ensure it has a good home and not potentially a landfill, also because I know college students would appreciate free stuff related to their majors!

So that’s what I’ve been doing for four days instead of posting! 😅

My oc Morganite and their aesthetic!

I don’t actually draw this character that much anymore, as she’s no longer a super important character. She kinda went from side character to slightly above background character. She has side character role in the second story in my graphic novel trilogy I’ve planned.

Then a couple mentions in the third story and that’s it. But I’m still glad I created her as she helped me develop one of the creature species “crystallo progiumes” I invented for my graphic novel series!

Also I just went to say I know a lot of Frosts aesthetic looks pretty emo, but he’s more of a pastel goth, and or emo for him was just a highschool phase as he still enjoys the music and aesthetic but I imagine he grew out of dressing in all black and emo like as he got older as a character.

Once again, I need to stop dropping random oc lore and just make my novel but school and school projects keep me so drained that it’s amazing I even have time to post right now…in fact I have to get back to work on my junior thesis comic so goodbye tumbler hello daily grind!

My oc Julian and his aesthetic!

He mainly has a dark academia aesthetic and a 1920s-1950s aesthetic. Also I made this video way before i changed his skin tone to be black, so connonically he’s black now, and I didn’t light wash him, I just made this before I changed his skin tone, as over the summer I went through the process of revamping all my ocs body types and skin tones so they were more diverse not only for extra representation but also to practice avoiding same body and face syndrome and have contrast with my character lineups!
