Dads reacting to Dadsona (Parentsona, if you will) coming out as nonbinary

Craig: Tries his hardest to cut out all the “bro”s. He slips up a couple times, but he goes a little pale in the face every time, and corrects himself immediately. He loves you, and that’s all that matters to him. He sat Briar and Hazel down and discussed with them what your identity is, explaining that you use they/them pronouns and how important it is to try to use those on you. 

Brian: He felt horrible that he had to ask you what it meant. He’s always been one to not be great at that type of thing. Once you explained it, he started asking lots of questions, careful to not be too invasive. Once he felt he had a good amount of information so he wouldn’t hurt your feelings in everyday conversations, he kissed you, and told you that he loves you forever.

Mat: You had mentioned that you had something important to tell him and that you’re nervous about it. He got worried that you has gotten hurt or something like that, and he sat down with you, making you both some coffee. But once you told him, he was relieved that nobody had hurt you, and said that he wasn’t sure why you were so scared, as he will love you til the end of time itself.

Hugo: He mentioned that a couple of his students had started using that identity to describe themselves, and while he didn’t quite understand them at first, he completely gets it now and is glad that you had the courage to tell him something so big. You had started to cry, and he pulled you into a big hug and said that things like don’t matter to him, for he loves you for being you.

Damien: He takes hold of your hands, looks deeply into your eyes, and tells you that he knows how it feels to tell everyone that you identify differently than what you were assigned with at birth. He hugs you, and whispers that he loves you. To lighten the mood, he inquired if you want to change your name, and suggested some gender non specific ones that you might enjoy.

Joseph: He took a moment to pause, taking it in for a second. You had started to explain it, as if it was in the same sentence as the confession, not even taking half a second to breathe. He calmed you down, kissed you, and let you know that no matter what, you are still a part of his heart and his family. Nothing changed following it. You still volunteered with him, still went out shopping with him. He clearly wasn’t used to the change, but you could tell that he was adjusting. 

Robert: He was a little bit taken aback. He expected something more like you got in trouble for something, or Amanda was upset with you. With how casually you put it, he didn’t expect something so big. Of course, he drew you into a loving embrace and double checked that everything he was doing and saying was comfortable with you. He drank a little bit later that night, but not because he thought this was a bad thing. He drank with you, as a celebratory toast for you being so damn brave.

Jealous/Obsessive Craig!

He sees you again..

For the fourth time in two days, he’s caught you watching TV with Amanda. Twice he’s seen you head outside to check the mail. Three times, he’s seen you tell Amanda to have a nice day. So many little counters are running in his head. It’s all filled up with you, and you alone.

You’re everything in the world to him. You’re you. You’re the one who stuck with the hot mess he was all throughout college, and he hasn’t lost an ounce of his affection. As a matter of fact, he gained it. Even since you moved into the little cul de sac, he hasn’t been able to stop thinking about you. He admitted to himself in college that he loves you. Now, he’s come to terms with the fact that he adores you in every possible fashion. 

A switch had been flipped inside him. A switch that he never thought anyone would manage to flip. He’s turned away from focusing on exercise and coaching the twins. He’s been distracted with you. “When should I ask them out?” “Do they feel the same about me?” “Is it normal to be this invested in them?”

His workaholic attitude has been stripped away from him. melted off of his brain like it was nothing. It was nothing. You are everything. 

Now he sees you again.

It’s the middle of the night, and someone had pulled up to the front of your house.

Robert. Again.

You went with him. WHY did you go with him? Are you two in a secret relationship? Is he hitting on you?

No matter what the cost, Craig would make you hate Robert with every fiber of your being. He would make you hate everyone else in the universe if it meant he would have your undivided attention and love. 

He loves you, and he’s not letting go of that fact.

Omg....

I’M

SO

SORRY!!!!!

Basically I’ve been inactive for 3 weeks now. I feel horrible because this was literally nothing but me being lazy. I’m so disappointed in myself for just brushing this blog off as “I’ll do it later”. I want you all to know that while I may have been lazy and inactive, I really do care about this blog and every single one of you. Also, I deeply apologize for late replies on messages. I probably worried a couple of you into thinking you annoyed me or something! I’m real sorry.

On a much happier note, I gained a ton of followers during the time I was gone! Followers aren’t just a number or score to me. To me, it’s like I gained a ton of new friends! To anyone new here, welcome to the family! I hope you enjoy your stay!

The Dads as Yanderes (NSFW!)

(I almost forgot to post this today! I set my alarm for this on the wrong day and forgot to change it, thank goodness I remembered before I went to sleep! Note: The tenses change a bit rapidly in this. It’s late at night, I honestly apologize)

Craig: He doesn’t remember being quite this interested in you back in college. He’s always been interested, but he doesn’t remember it like this. It confused him at first. He didn’t know why, but everything you did fascinated him in one way or another, He wanted to know everything. Eventually it tore him down to his bare bones, to the point where he’d watch you sleep when given the chance. He couldn’t help but jot down all of his sexual fantasies with you. He would make them come true. No matter what. 

Robert: He saw you as his distraction at first. He’d had so many one night stands that you seemed like nothing. But over time, he couldn’t help but see you as his escape. His only escape. He didn’t remember what it felt like to truly feel alive. It hurt him to even think about losing you. It angered him. He doesn’t like seeing you talking to anyone else. It made him feel like you were ignoring him. He kept up the secret sex with you. Every time he aimed to make you feel better than before. So maybe one day it wouldn’t be necessary to talk with anyone else.

Damien: He hid from you. You and him hardly had any conversations. He was too nervous to speak or even make eye contact with you. He was afraid to be found out. He wrote about you a lot. A lot of poetry. A lot of fantasies where he was the prince and you were in love with him no matter the cost. He was afraid that if he were to make any sort of contact with you, you’d know why he hid. Everytime he heard your voice, he melted. Thinking about your eyes made him feel lightheaded. Thinking about the feeling on your hands in his hair made him dig his fingernails into the side of his clothes, holding his breath. He wouldn’t talk to you. He’d only make sure nobody could feel the same things he thought about.

Joseph: He had absolutely no problem with you knowing about his obsession with you. All he wanted was to protect you from others that could hurt you, and protecting you meant everything to him. His entire life revolved around you. You knew this, of course. Joseph tried and tried to kiss you whenever you were around him. He even succeeded a couple times. He managed to get to your phone data. Every lewd message or photo you have ever sent or taken, he had. It was his shrine, his “collection”, as he likes to call it.

Mat: You listened to him. Nobody listens to him. You made him feel special, and from then on he treated you as pure and complete royalty. He do anything to impress you. He’d perfect new recipes for drinks and pastries, just to get your opinion. He’d become cold with other people, his mind always on you. One of those days, he slipped some slight medication into your drink. Just a little. He’d bring you back to his house and wait for you to wake up. Once you did, he would tell you that you just passed out, and would ask if you were okay. He hoped with everything he had to get you into his bedroom before you left. Perhaps you saw him as your hero.

Brian: You were better than him. He always knew this. Once he fell for you, he did everything to one-up you. You were such a perfect human being, and he didn’t know what to do with himself except to try and impress you. He seemed to ignore the rest of his life, constantly doing things better and better, breaking him apart. He wanted you to see him as perfect as he saw you. He loved you. He wanted you. He needed you. In every possible way, he needed you. If perfection was the way to make this happen, he would become perfect.

Hugo: He’s never had silly crushes. Being a teacher for all those years, he knew what those looked like. A lot of students crushed on him. He also witnessed their romances, it was all puppy love. What he had for you wasn’t puppy love. You had taste, you had intelligence, you had what nobody else had. He had to make that his. He earned your trust. You dated, you slept with each other in secret. It was all fun and games. Puppy love.. He wouldn’t stand for it. He became passionate for you. He gave his life and soul to you. He was not going to fall for puppy love. Especially not with someone as rare as you.

DDADDS Kids Having a Sleepover

Lucien: Spends the entire time texting. It annoys the others, so, being the secret softie he is, let the girls braid his hair. He took it out later, but still loved it.

Ernest: He’s not the best with the younger kids. It took a lot for him to be child friendly, but he knew he’s get in trouble if he tainted their minds.

Bryer and Hazel: They kept arguing all night. About who’s better at softball, who’s cuter, everything. Amanda tried to keep the peace, but the two just went at it, making it a bit unpleasant for everyone.  

Daisy: She wanted to make crafts with everyone. She took the initiative to get everything out. All the paper, pencils, scissors, glue.... Nobody wanted to craft with her but Carmensita.

Carmensita: When everyone went to sleep, she illuminated the room with her nightlight, regardless of the judgement of Christian and Christie.

Amanda: She was in charge of making sure everyone was being responsible, even Lucien and Ernest. She didn’t have too much fun or down time, always having to tear apart fights and make sure nobody hurt themselves. 

Christian and Christie: They didn’t socialize with anyone. Only when they threatened to take everyone’s plushies and sacrifice them in one way or another.

the dads going clothes shopping with dadsona

Craig: Pushes Dadsona into buying fitness gear with him. He feels like he forced Dadsona too hard and over apologized for about a solid five minutes until Dadsona shushed Craig and the two end up getting some new clothes for River. Craig still apologizes for around a week.

Damien: Whenever Dadsona finds something he wants to buy, Damien will say how it’s not good enough and that Dadsona deserves better clothes. Dadsona ends up letting him pick for him, and Damien goes all out. They end up spending 4 hours in the fitting rooms.

Robert: He wants to find Dadsona something badass, but still suits his gentle personality. He’ll put him in a bunch of leather jackets and ripped jeans. When Dadsona finally says he’s satisfied with the outfit, Robert will freak out and keep asking if he thinks Amanda will approve of his style.

Brian: Him and Dadsona will only really go clothes shopping when they’re having a date night, but it’s a nightmare every time. Brian will subconsciously try and make his outfit a little bit better, and he’ll accidentally spend too much buying clothes for Daisy that the two never planned to buy.  

Joseph: He insists that Dadsona, Amanda, and his kids all need new clothes and offers to buy it all. When Dadsona finally lets him, he goes all out and buys them stuff from the nicest stores. Amanda is beyond grateful, and slips hints to Dadsona that him and Joseph need to get married soon.

Mat: He secretly wants matching outfits, but doesn’t want Dadsona to know. Whenever he finds something, he’ll say “Wow, you’d look great in this too!”. When Dadsona asks what’s up, Mat will embarrassingly confess into wanting to match. Carmensita and Amanda thoroughly complement their choreographed outfits.

Hugo: He’ll always buy clothes for Dadsona in secret, because he feels Dadsona is too insecure when getting clothes for himself. While Hugo pushes Dadsona to get out of his comfort zone, he’ll immediately return things he doesn’t feel comfortable in. Hugo also can’t figure out what Dadsona’s style is, and will buy a variety of clothes, from workplace to lazy Sundays.
