i've finally redrawn an older piece again!! this one took me 15 hours (embarrassingly enough) and, frankly, i think it looks a whole lot better than the previous one, which i made in november of 2023 (will be shown below!!)

both screenshots from AG035 Win, Lose, or Drew (second episode Drew's in, May's first contest). The first one is a petal dance that he used in his appeal (alone). They're... you know. Nondescript petal shapes as one would expect. AND IN THE SECOND ONE. ONCE HE WAS UP AGAINST MAY. NOTABLY HEART SHAPED. I need to pace in circles right now

Me writing the last little bit of this fic: wow, I'm really letting May be the one to get in her feels about her crush this time. I'm giving Drew a break for once, aren't I? Good for him, he deserves it.

The break in question: getting a snowball accidentally pelted at his face like it's an MLB tournament and then experiencing clinically significant blood loss in the snow (but at least he doesn't have [overt] depression this time)

ramble time. alright so i'm rewatching advanced in english sub and like i can't shut up about the who what when wynaut episode. there's just way too much good moments of may & drew just being adorable but there's one particular scene i've seen NO ONE talk about. the scene where may is dancing with the wynaut KILLS ME. the main reason being, when may is hanging out n playing with the wynaut, drew watches and the camera simultaneously zooms in on may. i don't know about you, but that's just such a clear sign he was looking at her and her specifically. i happen to absolutely love those small little details; it kills me.

school au time again!! i recently finished the finale chapter after an entire year of procrasinating about it because i was healing from a traumatic period in my life LMFAO anyway i'm more attached to these babies now than ever (╥ ᴗ ╥) no detailed post because i'm lazy

Me and @itstimetodrew are keeping the flame of Contestshipping alive! It was so much fun getting to dress up together as May and Drew- been such a long time coming! I cannot believe how many people came up to us and remembered Drew and said they used to ship these two back in the day. 😭🥺❤️💚🌹🦋🎀

so i've been thinking about how much moves may and drew's pokemon share. because, honestly? there are way too much moves they have in common. here's all the moves i found: • most infamously, both drew's masquerain and may's beautifly share silverwind, that much is obvious. also, you can't tell me he didn't get masquerain having May in mind. it's just stupidly obvious he did. • another good example is that both drew's roselia and may's bulbasaur share petal dance. this is pretty much the other way around for the silver wind situation, except i'm pretty sure may didn't think too much about drew and his roselia there. • thirdly, both drew's absol and glaceon both share the move iron tail. more of a subtle one, but it's there, and i think it's absolutely adorable.

• both drew's roselia and may's munchlax share the move solarbeam. another subtle one since they never battled or got compared, but still worthy to point out :) • both drew's flygon and may's blaziken both knew flamethrower. again, a subtle one, since it was only in the deoxys crisis episodes, BUT, it's still there. • both drew's masquerain and may's squirtle knew bubble. a bit more obvious one since it's been shown multiple times them using this move • both drew's butterfree and may's beautifly know gust. again more of a subtle one since we only got to see drew's butterfree once, but another lil hint on how they're polar opposites yet still have a similar style! that's that. i personally think that's a LOT of moves in common. i know nobody cares but i HAD to point it out.
