Platelet-rich plasma and other Orthobiologics in Musculoskeletal Medicine

Ultrasound guided procedures require much more than 50 or 100k machine. Yes the machine does make a huge difference but at the end of the day its the operator and the needle driver. The days of delivering small dose of steriod into a bursa or a small joint are over. With #orthobiologics , this is never just an injection. Its a biological operation that require precise delivery of cells into the area or tissue that has a problem. It requires more than just a good eye and 🖐 coordination. It requires something like matrix the 🎥 type of vision. A trainee doctor asked me when did I know that I am confident about my skills with ultrasound. I tried to find an answer for sometime and I couldn’t. I called him back yesterday to tell him that its Like Neo and #thematrix when he became The One and started seeing everything in Black and Green screen. Its the same experience when you see the pathology as ultrasound images whenever you think of it .
