This came to me in a dream:

C!Wilbur’s first car, at least the first one he bought with his own money, was a van from the 70s he paid other people to fix up for him

Anyone who’s been in the front seat can tell you a few things

1. His dash is completely cleared off at all times, why? He doesn’t say.

2. He keeps an unholy amount of small booklets that are just lists of interesting words (presumably for songwriting, but who knows)

3. The only nail polish he owns is a dark blue multi-chrome polish, which does not explain why his nails are always painted, because he hasn't used that blue polish in years

4. He keeps a disc of music he associates with aphrodite hanging from the mirror at all times

5. He definitely fucks people in this car, or at least uses it to get laid.

6. He has lived out of this van at least once but you can't really tell how long.

He is such a disappointment to the family, that he's just some dude, while all of his immediate family are divine beings.

What exactly counts as shifting?

I did notice the feeling that's meant to signify it's working and lean into it heavily, but I only end up feeling it when I'm not trying to shift in the first place

And it wasn't complete

I could see and interact with the world but everything was all foggy and felt distant.

And occasionally I can get to this weird space where I'm floating in the sky.

But I've never been present like I am here, so is that what shifting usually is? Being somewhere else without meaning to go there, but everything there feels blurred and far away, and it's hard to move? It's kinda like if I was there fully and just dissociating really badly

Just a reminder that Free Palestine doesn't end with a ceasefire.

Gaza is in rubble and will have to be rebuilt. Gaza would still be a concentration camp where there's a lack of clean water and food allowed in. The west bank would still be filled with settlers and settler based violence.

Gaza had the mean age of 18 before this attack. People lost their everything, you don't just recover from that.

A Free Palestine ends once there is a true ceasefire. One the apartheid "state" of israel is no more.

C!Wilbur is my older brother's self insert oc now. My actual irl brother who is actually an alcoholic young adult twitch streamer with brown curly hair who's not only bisexual, but he also has a son, plays Minecraft, and has been fully medically dead 3 times and is somehow still alive.

I'm not joking, I have an actual older brother who fits the exact description I just laid out before you, ofc he's not British and he's actually from Minnesota, but hey, why not?

He also plays a lot of "build your own civilization" games, so the whole L'manberg thing wouldn't shock me.

He does kinda just appear places without explanation, and the suddenly spawning and immediately finding both a child to take under his wing and commit crimes with, and a father figure to mentor under, would just be another Tuesday for that man.

He introduced me to Minecraft, and Supernatural, and Criminal Minds, and Town of Salem, The Sims, and a whole bunch of other things.

He's actually a great person, and I would tell you who he is but I had a brief phase of making YouTube videos and I have no interest in making you suffer through my old slideshows.

So I see a server make a post about the Wilbur soot situation which is like. Whatever. but then the end of the post says all Wilbur introjects must be FULLY DISCONNECTED from their source or BANNED

A couple days later and I see ANOTHER post like this except this one says

Anyone with dsmp or vivzipop introjects is banned immediately

I DONT EVEN HAVE INTROJECTS OF OR LIKE THESE THINGS IM JUST LIKE. WERE JUST BANNING PEOPLE FOR THEIR SOURCE NOW?????

Okay but we've seen the same thing and it's absolutely vile. Introjects aren't source, even if they're source connected, and too many people have forgotten that

Yk how many people took a few days to process because they found being in his fandom comforting?

Imagine how the people who actually knew him irl and met him when they were children feel.

Someone being a manipulative dick is not typically obvious until shit hits the fan, no matter how many signs there were

so really you shouldn't be shocked that the people who knew him are responding like this, be honest with yourself, you would respond like that too.

Honestly this is exactly what I've been trying to articulate for a while now.

I feel like this is probably an unpopular opinion (that’s why I’m posting here and not on twitter) but I just wanna know if anyone else feels this way.

Obviously, I think Wilbur is the one Shelby is talking about, and as someone who was also abused, I feel stronger hearing her story. I hope she’s able to find peace soon.

Maybe I’m just an overly optimistic person, but I think Wilbur needs help. A lot of it. And I think, probably not a popular idea, that even though he’s a piece of shit in this situation, that he deserves it.

I’m an overly trusting person by nature. Obviously I wasn’t there when any of this happened. I am just a stranger on the internet. I don’t know what went on, I didn’t see anything happen. However, I think I want Wilbur to get better and I think he can.

He needs to be deplatformed. At least until he has PUBLICLY apologized to Shelby, and is showing to his friends (not us, the audience, not only Shelby, EVERYONE HE KNOWS PERSONALLY) that he is making an effort to never treat another person like that again. But I think, and please don’t come with your pitchforks for me, the person Wilbur abuses the most is himself.

He clearly has other problems that are not making him a good person. Mental health is not a excuse for poor behavior. However, it is an explanation. Your mental health issues and trauma are not your fault, however, managing both those things are unfortunately YOUR responsibility. They are HIS Responsibility to fix and manage, not Shelby’s, not Phil’s, not James, NO ONE BUT HIM.

Call me stupid, or crazy, or whatever, but I firmly believe in the idea of (almost) every human being capable of change. I have siblings who used to treat me terribly, who are much older than me, and I was hurt by them. But as I grew, I saw them realize just how terrible they treated me. They changed their behavior, and apologized to me many many times. They showed me people can wake up and change their lives around. And, whether or not Wilbur comes back to content creation, I hope he gets the help he so clearly needs.

Shelby owes him nothing. His fan base owes him nothing. His friends owe him nothing. Wilbur owes them everything. Shelby deserves to hold back her forgiveness when it so clearly isn’t deserved. She should never forgive him if she doesn’t want to. That’s her right.

Maybe I believe in people too much. But I truly hope he changes. Not only for his friends, family, and loved ones, but for his own sake. He’s going to end up dead if he continues this way, and I believe no one deserves to die. (I’m not even for the death penalty. Let them sit and suffer forever).

Anyway, get some rest all, drink some water, and remember that the world becoming a better place starts with you. Treat people the way you wanna be treated. 💕
