I started reading the letters exchanged by Wagner and Liszt and since my hyperfixated brain is going feral about them I would love to submit a Wagner quote but I can't think of anything even remotely funny, just cathartic pieces of microfanfiction where Liszt finally snaps at him.

Oh yeah, and love your blog. It's kept me sane on more than one occasion. :D

I need opinions because I'm really unsure if I'm overreacting but ... Can you maintain that an unhealthy dynamic was a clear one-sided abusive situation with an identifiable perpetrator and an identifiable victim AND also say that it's at least partially the victim's fault for enabling the abuser and teaching them that it's okay to treat the victim like that? Especially considering emotional manipulation and gaslighting are MEANT to slowly turn the victim into an enabler and erode away their self-confidence to a point where they don't realise it.

Like, there's a difference between learning to recognise and stand up against toxic behavior and being at fault for being an enabler, right?

And then if you ARE partially at fault, it's not such a clear black and white dynamic, or am I tripping?

“And, more importantly, I’m afraid he’s planning something. He’s been awfully preoccupied with rainbows lately, and somehow I doubt he just wants to come out. Please, Luci. I don’t want to look for him alone. Or ... face him alone.”

“Ugh ... alright then. I’ll help you find him.”

“You need to find God,” says the man at the door. “No I’m good, thank you,” you say, starting to close the door. “Please!” says the man urgently. “God is missing, please find him!”

“That’s been banged against the ground repeatedly but is somehow still alive.”
