Really though, I’d super appreciate if you guys checked me out on youtube, as I believe a lot of what I do on here can be done in a much higher quality on there and i’d love to eventually transfer over entirely.

I’ve been working on this for a little while since I last posted, but I think my youtube channel is about as presentable as it’s going to get for the most part LOL.

I don’t have a whole hell of a lot on there at this moment. Just a couple of speed paints. BUT, my filming equipment just came in the mail (which was a STEAL ill have you know), and I should be good to start filming some stuff very soon!

I’ve already got a swath of ideas for how to start off this channel and show off some of the stuff I like to do. It’ll be a while before my first real video is uploaded, of course. But if you guys have any suggestions of what you’d like to see discussed, please toss them at me!! I’d love to hear anything you guys have got for me! Just drop a query into the replies and let me know what you've got for me!

Thinking about starting up a youtube channel!

I have a lot to say tbh and tumblr, frankly, has been dying hard. So i’m thinking of starting a youtube channel to answer common questions that i’m often sent and start discussions, as well as just put some of my hobbies and interests on display!

I just recently acquired adobe premiere pro as well, so i finally have a decent editing software to utilize for this! What do you guys think? Would you like to see your questions answered/discussed in video format rather than simply text posts?

And now for the life update!

So for those of you who are interested, here’s what’s been going on with me lately!

I recently started, and then had to halt my new campaign. I know lol. We had some issues with player schedules and about half my team had to drop. But the good news is we were only 1 session in (2 if you include session 0) and the missing players’ places have since been filled with people who I trust and love very dearly and who I know can make time in their schedules for REGULAR SESSIONS!!! How exciting is that?! We’re set to begin session 2 and introduce our 2 new players this sunday, on the 28th of June!

Ya girl got herself a new boyfriend...! I know this may come as a shock to some of y’all who used to know me as a lesbian, but I recently came to the realization that I am actually, in fact, bisexual, and in love with a man I care very deeply about and have known for about a year now. Things are going great and he’s actually set to come visit me out here at the end of July! So i’m SUPER excited for that. :3

I was recently diagnosed with Moderate Autism Spectrum Disorder. I actually can’t remember if I've mentioned this before. But it’s a huge weight off my shoulders to know what is different about me and what has caused me to feel so off from others. I am currently attending therapy with a psychologist trained in assisting adults and children with autism and, for the first time in my life, it’s actually working for me very well. I’m very pleased with my progress as of lately.

Despite the quarantine, my workplace continued to pay me for several months while my city was shut down. I was being paid more than I was while I was actually working, and was thus able to save quite a lump sum of money on the side. I am now on track to moving out and possibly even BUYING a house with my best friend in the very near future. I am so excited.

Those are all the big life changes currently, but i’ve also been doing smaller things such as drawing a BUNCH of art, playing in a great d&d campaign that takes place on mars, and even getting my sternum tattoo finally finished! I’ve been staying safe, wearing my mask, and sanitizing everything I touch. And I hope you guys are too! Love y’all sm and I hope your lives are all going well <3

I feel like I should clarify this now that i’m re-reading this, but what I mean by hybrid account is this:

I will be moving away from resource hunting/hoarding as well as from aiding those who come into my inbox with their campaigns or builds. It will be more for myself and my own reference, with the occasional advice posts or opinion pieces here and there.

But the majority of this blog is very much likely to become my platform to show off what’s going on with me and my multitude of hobbies, all of which will probably be connected to d&d in the grande scheme of things.

I just realized that things became just a little too performative and task-worthy for my liking here and i’d like to change that back to the ideals I had when I started this blog: to show myself doing what I love to do most.

I’m considering making this account into a sort of hybrid.

I know it’s been a minute, but honestly every time I fall off this account, I get too scared of the time that’s passed since my last post and feel like it’d be weird to come back super late and stuff.

But I genuinely just have a lot of hobbies that I don’t know what to do with or know where to post, so I may just turn this account into a sort of hybrid for me to show off whatever it is i’m working on currently. A LOT of it has been art lately, not gonna lie. But I also wanna keep the central theme as dnd because most of my hobbies are, in some way, connected to dnd as such. Not to mention, this is my largest platform and I would love to try and make the most of it as there are a lot of features Tumblr offers that other websites just simply do not. That and twitter gives me a headache.

But I’d love to hear feedback or suggestions. I’m going through with it no matter what, but if anyone has any input or advice, i’m all ears.

Greetings!

It’s a new week, it’s a new map from me! This time I’ve drawn for your playing pleasure a new snowy forest. This map features a crossroads that your adventuring party can use to decide where to go next.

Like with my other snowy maps, I recommend you treat the snowy terrain as difficult terrain to make combat a little bit more challenging and dynamic. This way whoever sticks to the path will have the advantage of moving faster. The trade-off of this being that they lose the ability to use the trees as cover at a moment’s notice.

Speaking of trees, those are a perfect spot to set up an ambush as well, should that kind of thing strike your fancy this encounter.

Player’s Guide: Shifter’s Sorrow

Shifter’s Sorrow

Weapon (Any Sword), Rare

This Sword is crafted from an alchemical mix of iron and silver.

This Sword deals an extra 2d6 points of Damage against any Creature with the Shapechanger Tag, such as Vampires or Lycanthropes.

When a Shapechanger is struck by this Weapon, it must make a DC 15 Wisdom Saving Throw or return to its original form and can’t assume a different form until  the end of it’s next Turn.
