Reading my own fanfiction is basically just a rollercoaster of emotional whiplash.

20% of the time: “Hold on. I wrote this? This is fire. This is emotionally devastating in the best way. This scene is dripping with tension. I’m a literary perfectionist. Someone give me a book deal.”

80% of the time: “Straight to jail. Immediate prison. Why is everyone’s breath hitching?. I used the word ‘gaze’ three times in one paragraph like I was possessed. Did I think 'his eyes darkened' was profound? Why is everyone clenching their jaws? Why is someone whispering 'their name like a prayer' again?? No one talks like this. What is this dialogue. Why are there so many weird metaphors and em-dashes…”

mean gills was an insane teamup wasn't it. guy who survives for a really long time by staying loyal to his friends/allies and just generally being nice to the other lifers and guy who survives by betraying everyone around him and causing problems on purpose. it was always going to end the way it did. maybe scott knew that. maybe when he explained how the final battle would go he looked martyn in the eyes for the last time and knew he was going to betray him

Bruce has a strict 'no metas/powers (except duke) allowed in Gotham' policy in place but it has a clause, BYOR (Bring Your Own Robin)

No one is allowed entry untill and unless they can produce their very own certified robin-shaped identity card

Whenever someone with even a hint of supernatural powers in them arrives at Gotham, they're first met with Bruce standing at the city border with a notepad in hand

Bruce: State your name and purpose.

Kon: Kon-el, here to hangout!

Bruce: Your Robin?

Kon, flourishing Tim from behind him: Ta-Da!

Tim, waves: Hey Bruce

Bruce: Approved, you may enter

Wow I actually finished and posted chapter 2 of the blades of treason and batfam crossover. And its like 3700 words yipee!

Anyways, we actually get some interaction this time (or a lot of interaction) as well as my first time writing from Tim's POV which is pretty neat if I say so myself

So I actually went ahead and wrote and posted my crossover AU with the batfam and my Blades of Treason characters. Specifically the version of batfam in Elkai. I have ideas for 10 chapters and a light plot so far but more may be added.
