â youâve been so quiet. whatâs on your mind? â  (Thomas) || ðððŽðððžðŸðœ ð¿ððŸðŒð¿ðð.
THE YOUNG MAN WAS CORRECT - HE HAD BEEN QUIET. As was his nature whenever he was seeking to ponder, his normally bubbly, chatty persona was rendered completely mute. Still, it was never personal - but @meaningful-negativityâ wasnât meant to know that, was he?
FOCUSED EYES FOUND THEMSELVES DARTINGÂ IN THOMASâ DIRECTION. Finger pressed against his temple, he spoke.
â Oh - just allowing myself to wander alongside my thoughts, dear chap...though, what that gentleman said did interest me, about those footprints he found. Yes, I wonder... â

â close your eyes and hold out your hands. â
â what are you smiling at? â
â i canât leave you alone for one minute, can i? â
â was it you? did you do all this? â
â i donât know how you do this every day⊠â
â that is not an appropriate question to ask a lady youâve just met. â
â iâm not sorry. â
â i did warn you not to trust me. â
â do you remember anything? at all? â
â youâre lucky youâre cute. â
â why donât you just kill me? â
â did you hurt yourself? â
â i could show you the way. â
â i donât feel so good. â
â you owe me a dinner. a very nice dinner. â
â donât go. please. â
â you wanna know what your problem is? â
â iâm here to drink alone. â
â donât run away from this. â
â iâm just saying, murder is an option. â
â i didnât realize you were in so much pain. â
â i guess it runs in the family, huh? â
â you wouldnât understand. â
â weâve been through a lot. i think we should just lay low and take it easy. â
â dangerous to be out so late. â
â i hope you havenât been standing out in the cold this whole time. â
â i made a mistake. â
â am i not good enough? â
â iâm going to get you out of here. â
â why did you bring me here? â
â arenât we in a good mood today? â
â donât shut me out. please. â
â the stormâs getting worse. â
â i never meant to hurt you. â
â youâre about as intimidating as a butterfly. â
â have you come to laugh at me in my miserable state? â
â here, take this. youâll catch a cold. â
â this is the part where you leave. â
â why are you talking like weâll never see each other again? â
â you stepped on my foot! â
â youâre not a very convincing liar. â
â weâre in completely different leagues. â
â how did you find me? â
â i donât need you anymore. â
â rough day today? â
â snap out of it! â
â you look better in my clothes than i do. â
â why are you still here? â
â can i ask⊠what happened? â
â are you saying you care about me? â
â i wonât let anyone hurt you. â
â itâs not stealing if it was mine to begin with. â
â well, this is where i live. â
â weâre not so different after all. â
â how long have i been asleep? â
â no more lies, no more secrets. â
â can you forgive me? â
â i thought you⊠i saw you get shot. â
â why are you really here? â
â i wish we never met. â
â you look like you need a hug. â
â would you run away with me? â
â see? iâm not just a pretty face. â
â we can stop them. i can help you. â
â what now? iâm tired. â
â i didnât want you to see me like this. â
â i canât do this without you. â
â if you tell me yours, iâll tell you mine. â
â are you threatening me? â
â did you ever care about me? â
â treat me like the princess that i am! â
â iâm not leaving you. â
â why did you come? â
â i need your help⊠and you need mine. â
â i wish i could hate you. â
â i see you donât recognize me. well, it was a long time ago. â
â youâve lost a lot of blood. â
â i had my suspicions, but until now i wasnât sure. â
â thereâs nothing left for me here. â
â that is⊠literally illegal. youâre describing something illegal. â
â wait. iâve heard that sound before. â
â just try to hang on. â
â so whyâs it so important anyway? â
â iâll stay in tonight, thanks. â
â we canât keep going on like this. â
â in about a minute, youâll be sorry you didnât listen to me. â
â is this seat taken? sorry, itâs a bit crowded here. â
â you canât leave me here alone! â
â iâll believe it when i see it. â
â why are you laughing? this is a very serious situation. â
â i bought two. here. â
â iâve seen you before, walking by. â
â why canât i come with you? â
â c'mon. arenât you worried what might happen if we go? â
â walk with me? â
â itâs very rude to stare. â
â how many times have i told you? you canât visit me here. â
â we canât fix this. can we? â
â are you going to kill me? â
â itâs not like you can stop me. â
â itâs not safe for people to see us together. â
â take me with you. â
â some risks are worth taking. â
â let them go. take me instead. â
â what do you want in exchange for it? â
â is being drunk an excuse? â
â promise me you wonât overreact. â
â how can i possibly trust you? after all youâve done. â
â how long have you been standing there? â
â why did you wake me? â
â iâm not here to talk about my feelings. â
â you were going to leave without saying goodbye? â
â for some reason, iâm attracted to you. â
â promise me? â
â itâs nothing, iâm just tired. â
â i feel safe with you. â
â i donât need your help. â
â i think i have a bit more experience with this thing than you do. â
â no way, iâm not doing that. â
â i do care. â
â you snore in your sleep. itâs adorable. â
â i have a spare bed. â
â youâre very kind. some day itâll get you killed. â
â youâll always have a home with me. â
â of course i care. youâre my family. â
â you shouldnât insult people that are bigger than you. â
â i never wanted to hurt you. â
â i swear it wasnât me. â
â we can just sit here, you donât have to talk. â
â did you miss me? â
â this isnât just about you. itâs about whatâs best for all of us. â
â you can never admit when youâre wrong! â
â is this what you wanted? â
â what are you doing out here by yourself? â
â sorry to put you through that. i guess i owe you one now. â
â the only time you talk to me is when you need something. â
â iâm still learning. â
â if you have something to say, spit it out. â
â you⊠donât like me very much, do you? â
â iâm on your side. â
â i risked my life for you! â
â whatever youâre going to ask, the answer is no. â
â you can stay with me. â
â i just need time. â
â please donât do this, donât act like you care. â
â who the hell invited you? â
â what? no witty remark? nothing clever to say? â
â i just wanted to say iâm sorry. â
â think of it as a compliment. â
â do you ever stop being so serious and dull? â
â itâs rare to see your kind around here. â
â you remember me. thatâs good. â
â youâre a terrible flirt you know. â
â are you kidding me? weâre not âfineâ! â
â right now i wish i was dead. â
â i guess i shouldâve told you. â
â youâre not alone. iâm here. â
â youâve been so quiet. whatâs on your mind? â
â knowledge is power. â
â you scared me. â
â well, whatâs so strange about that? â
â donât look at me like that. â
â i want to be there when you get whatâs coming to you. â
â just who do you think you are? â
â you look⊠amazing. â
â weâre safe, arenât we? â
â you know, i really hoped iâd never see this place again. â
â donât touch me. get away from me. â
â i thought youâd like this. â
â itâs too dark, i canât see anything. â
â whatâs that smug look for? you think you can do any better? â
â who did you piss off this time? â
â you shouldâve thought about that before you got into a fight. â
â i only wanted to help. â
â you knew and you didnât tell me? â
â you donât scare me. â
â wow, look who remembered my existence. â
â change isnât easy. â
â why did you help me? â
â why do you hate me? â
â i canât even trust myself anymore. â
â i was making sure you werenât dead, since you never called. â
â you look awful. what happened? â
â are you here to kill me? â
â you know you arenât allowed in here, right? â
â was that a friend of yours? â
â two years later and you havenât changed. â
â you look like you just saw a ghost. â
â nobody tells me what to do. â
â youâre too scared to do it, arenât you? â
â come on. it canât be that bad. â
â i hope to repay your kindness someday. â
â just let me do this for you. â
â why were they coming after you? â
â how many people have you killed? how many? â
â how much do you value your life? â
â you donât know when to give up, do you? â
â donât lie to me. â
â iâm not sober enough to talk about this. â
â have a drink with me. â
