Funny the things you hear from conservatives...

It's funny the things I have heard on the radio and around my area with the people I know. My dad is highly conservative so he began listening to quite a bit of conservative radio. Of course sometimes it's hard to avoid having to listen to it as well. Normally I would just walk out of the room but sometimes I would be cleaning the kitchen or eating. Much what I have heard is mostly ranting and occasionally some funny stuff gets thrown around. From I can tell, although I am not politically active, I have noticed they make the "liberal" party out to be some evil group out to take over. I can't say I know all the facts but that's just what I have noticed. I'm pretty sure I have heard a few things get thrown around like the terms "socialist" and others.

Also, I used to go to a church with my family that had said some "interesting" things as well. My former Sunday school teacher had said that we should vote for Romney because he was Mormon. Now obviously you can understand what's wrong with what she said. I don't know if that was her only reason, but I certainly hope not. However, she said that, "although he might not hold our values completely, he will be a better candidate than Obama." This was at the time of the election just a few weeks before.

I have noticed hyperbole is something that is highly Favorited by many conservative people.
