Still making sketches and structuring out an AU that I hopefully will make a comic for! I’ll write about the idea below the cut

They get on the bus together and on their expedition they learn more about the catalyst comets. Since learning about the comets Betty has been having premonitions in her sleep that she believes are just intense dreams. She dreams of her alternate Golbetty self, and of her world ending. They freak her out, and in her desperation to learn more about the comets she evidently learns a little bit about Master Evergreen and his attempts to stop the comet with the crown. When Simon brings it home she recognizes it and stops him from wearing it as a joke. She doesn’t know what it will do, she just knows it was made with a powerful wish magic. It isn’t until they believe their home will be destroyed by the war that Simon puts the crown on out of desperation, freezing their home in ice, trapping them inside temporarily.

There is SO much more for me to plan. I want them to still find Marcy, I want Marcy to still fight the vampires, I have to decide if Betty ever jumps through a portal into the future- and when. I have to think about what Ice King and Betty’s dynamic would be in this world if that does happen… My plan isn’t necessarily to write their story so that what happens to them never comes to fruition, just so that it all happens a bit differently. I want to spend more time with these characters, I want certain little parts of their story to be bigger! I’m taking control of the fucking narrative!! I wouldn’t really even consider what i’ve made so far to be a rough draft, more pieces of my outline… I hope people see what i’m doing as intriguing though it’s always nice to have some encouragement
