young!King gets hurt, probably falls out of a tree, and there's no one else around to help. Except his squirrels. Several of them bundle against him to keep him warm, while the rest of them go to get help. It takes maybe two, three hours for help to arrive, and once he's back home, King doesn't wander far for weeks.
