Dance can signify joy, celebration, and/or possession by a higher power, be it good or evil. The act of dancing is also linked with rhythm and transforming time into motion.
DANCING is not an invention of man, since birds and monkeys dance. In origin dancing is a purely physiological action, or, put in another way, the ordered and more or less rhythmic expression of an impulse of movement. It is, however, unknown to a normal physiological condition; it only occurs in an abnormal con- dition; no animal or primitive human being dances unless urged by some specific excitement and before the excitement dies down and the dancer relaxes his efforts, the dance transforms the excitement into ecstasy. Ecstasy enhances the physical strength of the dancer and changes his mentality. He is no longer a man; in losing consciousness of his ordinary nature he feels within himself a superhuman power which raises him to the stature of a spirit; and as a spirit he believes he is able to control the forces of nature, to summon friendly and to banish hostile powers. Thus, the dances of man are never mere pastimes, or artistic performances without signi- ficance; they are magic actions and in consequence constructed in such a manner as to achieve a magic purpose.

The act of breaking; state of being broken. A break, breach, or split. If something such as an organization or society is fractured or fractures, it splits into several parts or stops existing.
In fairy tales, thoughts, intuitions and imagination are often represented by a feather carried by the breath of inspiration. The feathers form wings that allow one to transcend the concrete, to escape confinement and to rise to creative heights or to spiritual vision.
