Might be my last art fight post for the year. But I'm also doing one more revenge and maybe something else so we'll see???

I also have like lots of sticker WIPS and some swimsuit Leis so..... (I needed something for the July Calendar)

My purple kitsune sister #1 -- her name is TBD right now I'm leaning towards Yuuna (or Yuna) but fun fact the first name I considered was Kokone.

This is because Yuna and her younger sister Reimu are skilled users of mental/mind magic which is why they were considered "Cursed" and cast out by their village. They are now both living on top of a mountain shrine and being trained by their mentor -- a nine-tailed fox who is secretly a kitsune goddess. Their mentor's (mostly Yuna's mentor) is named Mikomei. I will design her eventually and she's actually a super old OC who just never got made into digital art LOL

As for what Yuuna's powers are, both she and her sister can walk into people's dreams + influence the dreams and Yuuna also has powerful fox fire (which is purple) and can cast powerful illusions. Meanwhile Reimu can see visions of the future and can speak to ghosts :3

As Yuuna's powers develop, she will also eventually be able to influence or see people's fate through red strings <-- tentative idea

Personality wise, Yuuna is all bark and no bite -- seemingly sassy but (not-so-secretly) a sofie. She also dotes heavily on her younger sister despite not being much older than her younger sister. Yuuna also is mischevious and loves to play pranks on anyone who is not her younger sister or mentor. Usually she does this through casting illusions or other magic trickery. Yuuna's favourite time of day is tea-time where she has some matcha green tea with a sweet snack. Her favourite sweets are strawberry daifuku or hawthorn tanghulu (a very rare treat)

Some more Art Fight stuff -- an attack + a revenge! Phoebe for pekoely -- really proud of the layout/composition + underwater background esque thing. I really tried to add some sort of BG for once! And Shina for Stiricidiia (revenge for a Lumi drawing she did) -- I'm super proud of all the details I incorporate from her ref sheeet especially those clothing folds... They are my weakness. Also her hat was so fun to draw!

I love them so much they look so cool 😭😭😭🥺🥺🥺🥰🥰🥰 I feel like both of them could be protective of each other in different ways. Couples who SLAYYYY together stay together?

Other notes:

In my year end synopsis these are going to count as June cuz I drew the majority of it in June. Just Vail's lining + colouring bled over cuz I was working on Lei's ref 💀💀💀

I really like how intimidating Vail looks here. FOR SOME REASON I'VE NEVER ACTUALLY DRAWN HIM HOLDING HIS SWORD? 😭 THE KATANA I STRAIGHT UP DESIGNED FOR HIM? it's crazy orz too many drawing ideas too little time and motivation

Vail's intimidating look is also funny because he's really a #softboi at heart. You must have really pissed him off for him to look like this 🥺

As for Lei... I changed her eye style! I wanted her to have a more unique eye style since all my OCs have mostly distinctive irises. I think her gaze looks a bit more striking now, especially with how good her eyesight is / how good of a shot she is XD

I also wanted to draw Lei with a gun... cuz I drew a ref of her gun design recently (for Umbra's ref -- they have the same model) and update the gun art I have of her

This would be her main outfit in the campaign -- she wore the same thing until right before the... well, that's a spoiler :3

I drew these for artfight but missed out on redrawing my Nova ref 😭😭 i'll have to update that as we go but its sketched

Bustshot / Portrait of my OC Lumi as I prepare for Artfight. I'm planning to add her onto my roster this year after I update some old refs... Nova.... Lei... Umbra who got no attacks last year... my beloveds I will fix you 🤞🤞🤞

But fr she's my main OC from HS and she actually hasn't changed too much from then other than a few design updates to look more ~sleek~ and add more ice elements (ex: her diamond shaped pupils), more silver embroidery / lining in her fit. Anyways I hope I get to explore her more... among my 50 bajillion other OCs... 😭😭😭

I have a whole squad of main OCs rn... Lumi, Nova, and then Lei. Which covers dark blue, light blue, and green. to finish the cool tone gang I'm going to need a purple OC. I fear it's going to be Umbra XD it's already her for now but when I play her... then it will TRULY be over for me 😭😭😭

I got a little lazy... also her ribbon placement for her gloves is inconsistent LMAO but the main things that stays the same are her like thigh highs and boots. Yes she's wearing heeled boots. OH ALSO SHE'S 170cm with the boots. She's 165cm naturally but she's almost always wearing some sort of thing that will BOOST her height. She gotta LOOK the part to girlboss 💅

Personality wise she's pretty bossy / stubborn and has a sort of cold anger to the world for being unjust to women. Her story is about taking the throne through an elaborate scheme (her older bro the crown prince doesn't want the throne cuz he's not interested in being king) which is a lot similar to Qiulan's story now that I think about it... clearly my OCS have common themes TM But anyways she does actually achieve this.

In the original story I wrote for her in HS there was some sort of rivalry/ enemies-to-lovers thing with my other OC Mazin... and some like faction thing. I don't think it quite makes sense anymore XD so I'll have to rethink how he and his sister Nyx are incorporated in the story.

Not art - Crafting / Decorated envelopes

I do some local penpaling with some of my friends and I'm really into making decorated envelopes + letters of course. And since I DM a very sporadic DND campaign, it was the 3rd anniversary this year since we started and I made my players some decorated envelopes of their PCs, complete with updated bust art, chibi stickers, and decorated polcos (which I called "Adventurer's ID")

I think it turned out suuuper cute so I wanted to share even though it's not like my usual art ^^

Here's the best art I made :D Their names are:

Wohu - tiger beast-kin, beast master ranger from the bamboo forest in the Eastern empire

Rosalie - wood elf, eloquence bard from the forest elf queendom

Tremella, mushroom gatherer gnome, evocation wizard, from the mushroom forest

Incorrect Quotes (Lei + friends edition)

I played around with some incorrect quote generators in like 2023 and I found them in my folder recently so I wanted to share the ones that were the most in-character/fiting.

Let's start with this one:

Perfect for pride month XD Lei is in fact bi like look how much she always talks about how pretty women are

Lei loves borrowing Vail's clothes. But since they don't have too big of a height difference I'm sure Vail wouldn't mind borrowing some of her clothes in return. Especially her nice bathrobes and fuzzy socks, ofc.

This is very hilarious considering 1) Vail's obliviousness + 2) That he has sleeping problems T_T He probably wouldn't get the hint unless Lei was more, uh, direct

Lei is definitely the more flirty/forward of the two especially since she has more experience. She probably can think of a lot of dirty talk (not that she always is able to execute it well with lower charisma... but it's okay Vail is into it XD)

Lei probably dreamed about this once. It was definitely one of the best dreams she's had.

It's hard to imagine Elise saying that she hates anyone but I imagine modern AU Elise can get a little more spicy since she's also a gamer haha

This is really funny because it feels like a continuation of the previous one XD where Ceres gets the most babey treatment of all

Spoiler alert I actually use this for like the wedding AU fic I'm still writing XD

This is probably more cyberpunk canon universe -- it's the "I would die for you" / "But would you live for me?" 🥺😭

This one hit super hard when I was annoyed at Vail in the campaign literally constantly disappearing without giving much info LMAO (TBF it was also my first time playing / was not good at asking questions with Lei)

Mermay 2025 Day 31 - Serenity

Featuring my icy queen Lumi <3

I wanted to incorporate the moon dipping into the ocean for the prompt "serenity" and wanted an almost sleepy, dreamy mood. I really wanted to make the crescent moon in rotated/unusual alignment to make it more surreal almost?

I found this scale brush I really like this year so that's been fun to use to draw my mermaids this year! Only got to do like 3 prompts T_T but that's better than none from 2024 and 1 from 2023 :'D

I'm super proud of this piece and think Lumi's mysterious smile also adds to the mood -- I suspect she's waiting for you to fall asleep from the lull of the waves.

I was working on this drawing while trying to make more entries for Mermay, but while I wasn't able to tie this one into a prompt for Mermay, I wanted to keep drawing her because I really liked the face and pose I drew. 🌸Spring Lei🌸

And somehow my first digital Lei piece of 2025 💀💀💀🤡🤡🤡 This is crazy because she's basically all I drew in 2024 😭😭😭 I had so many WIPS but never finished any of them 😭😭😭

Anyways I was doing something experimental with the dappled light and it's not the best thing I've drawn but I really didn't want to delay it anymore T_T I might redraw it in the future

I think her outfit is really cute though! I usually draw her in darker tones and give her dark red makeup so this time I gave her a softer pink like in the cherry blossoms!

I did try in the blurred background but I guess it looks a bit disjarring cuz of the different brushes I used for the cherry blossoms ;w; welp there was an attempt ;w;

Fun fact originally her expression was a pout b/c I was feeling sad so I was going to make a sort of spring blues piece but then I was like... no I can't always be drawing Lei sad cuz I am so I made her happier in this piece XD I'm glad I did cuz I imagine she's on a spring date with Vail OR a picnic with her friends :3
