Polaroid — Horse riding

it ended today and it’s truly a crime to me that seemingly nobody’s brought weapon x-traction to the attention of the non-comic deadclaws fans. it’s the only comic i’ve read that explicitly calls wade pansexual and emphasizes his queerness without it being the butt of the joke. it’s the only thing i’ve ever read that had me genuinely laughing pretty much the whole time. it has some utterly enchanting art. and as of this week and the last it has deadclaws LITERALLY finding each other in every universe

with everything about this comic taken into account i’m so sure that the subtextual intention for it being romantic was there. because like yeah what the fuck is happening in any of this. what’s happening HERE?

similar to how wade was manipulated into saying yes to ajax’s forced mutation program to save his relationship with vanessa

in conclusion — THEY ARE BOTH LOVERBOYS WHO FINALLY FOUND SOMEONE WHO MATCHES THEIR LEVEL OF DEVOTION

thinking about how logan spent the entire movie using alcoholism as a coping mechanism but once he found peace he finally drank it in a healthy manner —

he drank beer at wade’s party not to disassociate from reality but to celebrate the newfound love and family he now has and i think that’s beautiful

this gains significance when you remember his alcoholism was originally caused by the loss of his family

As you can guess…yes, my sick brain wanted to make a comic.. Comic by poolverine :"D At least 6 pages are planned – and storyboard for page 5 is already in progress, eheeee– And I sincerely hope that I will be able to bring this idea to life, because I really like it, and in general it is an interesting experience (yes, this will be my first comic), so… wait for something? IDK, I can't give any guarantees–
