Been doing a lot of personal projects and learning how to Paint better using manga studio and the like Clockwise from top My new PC for a game of DND 5e called Shinbreaker Jones. Halfling monk. A gentleman dwarf I did as practice on manga studio 5. I did a gray-scale overlay to paint him and wasn't very pleased with the way overlay makes colours look washed out. A simple sketch of my friend's dwarven Mage, Asparagus 'Gus' Silverhands. Pyromaniac extraordinare. I really like how manga studio let's me sketch.

This is a poster I did for a friend who suffers from rheumatoid arthritis. It's something that inspired me because the words were so affirmative in of themselves.

If I haven’t mentioned it before, I love Chris Foss’s work. I recently did this commission for a dear friend to accompany his sci-fi story. He wanted the picture in black and white - which is always interesting because working with values in between absolute black and white is a reminder that art, like life, isn’t as simple as it seems. There are facets in between that make the interesting things happen.

I AM GROOT! Been trying to do more stuff with just paint brushes and remove my reliance on line art. More experimental stuff to come. Just watched the movie so couldn't resist painting him.

Wordplay is fun. Autocorrect changed the name of the dungeons and dragons deity the Raven Queen to the Ramen Queen. Also, every Queen needs a champion so the next one was made. More pun based artwork will be around.
