From run-ins with famous friends to getting pulled over by the cops, this is Riverdale actress Cami Mendes' New York Fashion Week video diary.
A Monday off from work isn't typical for actress Camila Mendes—at least not in September. "We shoot #Riverdale nine months out of the year," she tells ELLE.com. But when the actress who plays Manhattan fashionista Veronica Lodge was presented with the opportunity to attend her first ever New York Fashion Week, Mendes made it work. If only for two days, she was heading to NYC to take in the shows. First up? Prabal Gurung. Excited for her "Kendall Jenner moment," the actress went with a red turtleneck and pink trousers, making the most of her debut.
On day two, she managed to squeeze in an appearance at a 12:00 p.m. Zimmermann show, before jetting off to the airport to make her 4 p.m. flight back to Vancouver—and back to the "no red lipstick rule" her character Veronica Lodge abides by.

Peter Kavinsky—I mean Noah Centineo— just proved he is the PERFECT boyfriend (with the help of Liz Lemon, the Labrador retriever puppy).
My personal favorite line: “we can go to dinner, but we should split the bill 80/20 because of the gender pay gap.” 😍😂😭

Hayley Kiyoko may be busy opening Panic! At the Disco's Pray for the Wicked tour and celebrating her double VMA nominations—she's up for Best New Artist and Push Artist of the Year—but she still found time to stop by ELLE.com to film something special for her fans. We asked fans to send in their most unsolvable dating conundrums with the hashtag #AskHayley—and it got personal.
Should you swipe right on a person you know in real life? What do you do if you fall for a straight girl? Would Hayley ever date a fan? Watch above as the “Girls Like Girls” singer doles out real—and sometimes tough—love advice to girls who, well, like girls.

Ariana Grande took time out of our August cover shoot to try her hand at Song Association. The rules of the game are simple: we give Ariana a word, and she has ten seconds to sing that word in a song. Play along and see her cover Justin Bieber, Whitney Houston, *NSYNC, and more — plus, she gives us a sneak peek of a new track, “R.E.M,” from her upcoming album Sweetener.

Black women in America have been braiding their hair since there have been Black women in America. And during most of that time, the look was derided or ignored by mainstream culture. Watch our documentary, "Braided: An American Hair Story"
Lupita Nyong'o, Young M.A, Ayana Bird, Lacy Redway, Vernon François and more talk about braids and black hair culture in America.
