Inktober Day 7 - Shy. A strong woman who is shy made me pause for a moment, but then Elinor Dashwood came to mind. She is reserved, and in that the anchor for her family in the midst of turmoil, even when her own heart was breaking. Inktober Day 6 - Sword. Thinking of strong females that might use a sword I thought of the little known Marianne from Strange Magic. It isn't a perfect movie, but I adored her story line about how she was hurt and betrayed and chose to learn how to protect herself and those nearest to her. She learned to find her own voice and not try to fit into the box society had placed her in. So she was jaded and snarky, but still powerful. And that power is part of what attracted the person who helped her heal.
