SCORPIO SEASON

Today marks the beginning of Scorpio season.  Although we typically associate Scorpio with scorpions (it’s literally in the name), Scorpio’s highest form is the phoenix, which I absolutely love.  The Phoenix represents rebirth, and what are we here for other than to achieve our highest selves?

How does Scorpio affect our bodies energetically?  First, Scorpio is connected to our second chakra, our sacral chakra (Marango, 2016).  The second chakra is about feeling; it is about our sexuality, our creativity, and using our emotions to connect with others (Alcantara, 2017).  Our feelings flow like the water sign that Scorpio is, as do the fluids that flow through this part of the body.  The second chakra is associated with our pelvis, genital organs, and low back (Marango, 2016).  How is your sex life?  How are your relationships?  Are you in a creative space?  What old stuff are you carrying around that no longer serves you?  What feelings are you holding onto that you need to let go of?  What in your life is trying to transform?

While we’re considering these questions, we also need to take care of ourselves during this season.  For exercise, focus on cardio, including sex (Farber, 2019).  Surround yourself with jasmine and geranium (Farber, 2019).  Eat foods that arouse passion (Farber, 2019).  Practice yoga.  This includes the butterfly pose to open your hips (Farber, 2019), and cat-cow to loosen up your spine (Marango, 2016).  While meditating, focus on releasing what needs to go and create an affirmation embracing the positive effects of change (Farber, 2019).

Above all else, love yourself.

Zincite has one of the most interesting story’s in my opinion: Found in natural naturally, but very small and fragile, it is not the most common or touch friendly. However, a Zinc based paint factory in Poland 🇵🇱 found that as they made the paint, Zinc crystals were growing in between the walls!!! Though they were not technically grown in the earth, they have the same chemical composition as the crystals grown in the earth, and it was a happy accident that they were formed. They are very dense and the crystals range in colors from blues, greens and yellows, to the most coveted orange-ish red like this specimen. They are also more easily handled, though still delicate and can be sharp. The paint factory did clean up their equipment to make it more efficient which stopped the crystals from growing unfortunately. This leaves very little left on the market anymore. 🧡 Zincite can be used to clear disoriented mental facilities and for clearing the mind of unwanted thoughts.
