Genya isn't the nicest guy and that clear just by looking at him, but when he's around you... it's a completely different story. He's a bit timorous* around you, most women in general. Today was different, he was a bit more nervous than usual.

"Genya," you say catching his attention as he sharpens his blade. He hummed in reply not looking up. "Are you alright? Is something the matter?" you say walking up to him rubbing his shoulders lightly while resting your head on his shoulder blade.

"I'm fine," he replied, but his voice sounded strange. Like it was a little strained, like he was having a miniature panic attack on the inside.

"Are you sure baby?" You asked wrapping your arms around his waist, you rested your chin on his shoulder. He nodded in reply.

"I uh... I have a present for you actually," he said setting his katana down. You smiled brightly loving the surprises he gives you. They are always wonderful gifts. Like a couple weeks ago while you were on your period he brought back your favorite followers after his mission. The fact that he would always think about you no matter what was happening, where he was, or what condition mentally or physically he could be in. You are always in his mind. He grabbed your hand, his hands were sweating like crazy almost as if he dunked his hands in water. He covered your eyes as he lead you towards your 'gift'.

"How much longer?" you whinnied he chuckled lightly. His laugh is always music to your ears. He doesn't laugh often. His laugh is deep yet so calming, your safe place.

"Not much longer babe," he smiled as he uncovered your eyes and wrapped his hands around your waist. "Happy 2 year anniversary," he smiled. It was beautiful, an open field underneath a tree with a gorgeous sunset in the background. A blanket laid on the ground 3 lanterns surround the picnic blanket to brighten up the area. He made you both food and he isn't the best cooker but he has been practicing a lot lately and you finally understand why.

"Genya... I.. this is amazing, I am so so sorry I didn't make or get you anything," You frown looking at the ground. He stands in front of you lifting your head up.

"You don't need to get me anything, as long as you are mine and I am yours that is all I need. You say I love you every day means the world to me and tonight I want to show you how much it means to me," he smiled kissing your forehead.
