- I hate the boys. Period. Except Alexander he's literally The Great, ALEXANDER THE GREAT that man conquered my loyalty and hasn't lost a battle since but the rest????? Uhhhh NO I don't know what it is but I can't tolerate them like if they existed in real life I wouldn't even waste a blink on them.

- Alisa was literally just doing her job If you've ever had one you'd get it there's no space for emotions in professionalism so if her actions offended you... respectfully, you're probably jobless and honestly? That explains a lot.

- Y'all hate Eve way too much yes she did things but let's be serious some of you hate her more than Tobias and that says everything.

- If you love Queen Ravenna, Georgina Sparks, Blair Waldorf… then yeah you like Eve, she's that evil, manipulative, morally grey, psychologically terrifying and the reason the plot MOVES she's literally carrying the series and y'all just aren't ready to admit it.

- Book Lyra is not the same as Fandom Lyra, every time I see people dragging her for things that never even happened, I question if we read the same book, that disconnect is half the reason she gets so much hate.

- This fandom is obsession with the "badass female character" trope is getting tired, you're just rebranding the same boxed expectations in a prettier package, still a cage, just sparkly.

- Gigi is the definition of independence. The blueprint. But y'all aren't ready to unpack that because it doesn't come in the "cool girl with a weapon" aesthetic and your narrow definition of "strong".

- Avery had her cringe moments, like running around declaring Toby was her dad with zero proof? Girl...... I literally put the book down for a moment. Or when she threatened Alisa's job, like where was that energy when it came to Thea or Grayson? And the way she was desperate to be ''part of the Hawthorne brother'' was just... NO. (Still like her tho)

- Lyra intro chapters were weak and bad, everyone else got meaningful or personal openings but hers were all abstract parallels, why not start with a moment that screams Lyra? For example a line like ''My wings are gone. The dream is over. Back to reality'' or a mirror scene a forced smile or anything else, not vague metaphors, please.

- Avery's trauma wasn't overlooked just because it wasn't loud doesn't mean it wasn't real, not all trauma has to be performative.

- Avery and Rebecca is just better and I don't even know why It just happened and honestly? I'd do it again.

- The love triangle? Actually healthy. Avery didn't play both sides unlike in other love triangles.

- Toby is a homewrecker I said what I said, yes Eve's mom was a cheater too but that doesn't erase Toby's part, if he were a woman y'all wouldnve dragged him nonstop.

- Toby and Eve are literally two chaos gremlins in different fonts, she inherited that unhinged energy straight from him and listen he caused chaos just because he found out he was adopted by rich parents but he ate, I'll ll give him that.

- Emily isn't the main reason Grayson and Jameson's relationship is a mess, they both knew what they were doing, donnt play with fire and then cry when you get burned. In short: They tied it with their hands, now let's see them open it with their teeth.

- Not gonna lie, JLB should've just made Grayson the villain. The potential? The menace? He couldnve served Tai Lung level villainy. Missed opportunity.

- Thank God Eve was evil because if she had been kind or innocent, what happened to her would've been cruel. Everyone keeps saying she ''got a chance'' but like… what chance?? From the second she appeared, all they saw was Emily. No one looked at her for who she really was. No one cared. And Grayson? Don't even get me started. He didn't see Eve, he saw a memory and wanted her to be into this weird mix of Emily and Avery, imagine if she had actually been soft or sincere? He would've broken her without even realizing it. So yeah, thank God Eve was playing him.

- This fandom is so misogynistic, it's almost impressive. Y'all will drag every female character to hell for breathing wrong but then turn around and defend the boys like they're holy relics. And I couldn't believe some of you were actually fighting like full on losing your minds over a man. Like... a man. I mean yeah we all have our moments, we all have our favorites but choosing that hill to die on? Ummmm… yeah.

- And honestly? I feel like the boys influence the girls way more than the girls influence them. Let’s talk about that.

- Anyway, I'm currently manifesting that Lyra and Libby throw their trashy men in the bin and just date each other. Yeah, call me anti man I genuinely don't care. LONG LIVE WOMEN AND ALISA. Also, not to start anything but I'm praying for Slate to look exactly like his mom I'm sorry but he was in her womb for nine months that man contributed absolutely nothing to the labor so she wins by default. I've seen so much discourse of people saying Billy Hargrove is a bad person for being abusive and try to say that his behavior isn't excused because Jonathan is also abused and he is abusive. However, how can you compare two different situations because in Jonathan's case Lonnie Byers left the abuser left and Jonathan had a supportive circle with his mom and his younger brother to keep from being an aggressive jerk, meanwhile Billy was abandoned by his mom from a young age since he was a kid and forced to walk on eggshells around Neil face the wrath of his dad and probably saw his dad swap partners as frequent as changing his socks. And Bill y took every aggression from Neil so that way Susan and Max wouldn't get the abuse. So everyone's saying that Billy is a horrible character and that he shouldn't be redeemed dont get billy. Because normally people who abuse are often abused and yeah it shouldn't be excused but Billy was abused since he was a kid it was the only thing that he knew how could he be a good person when all that he knew was taking his anger out on someone. He didn't have a good support system and didn't have a hobby as an outlet for his anger

Bringing Politics into contemporary books is a very controversial opinion so it is often sidelined . As for the music we don't really know that because the books are more focused on Avery to know much about personal things about the others

Even the Nash being a swiftie thing is a HC , like he may sing to her songs but it doesn't necessarily mean that he is a fan
