So here is a trial for a potential patch design. Still need to get the fabric tension right and maybe choose a better colour to define the tentacles. Using chain stitch worked well and it only took me about 2 hours from start to finish? Just got to work on a way to finish the edges. Who knows if I’ll actually end up selling any, I’m terrible!

Here’s a little update! So if I’m gonna hand embroider these patches I can’t trace each design on, so I made a stamp. I actually made two, this one was a first attempt and my second attempt is neater and I rearranged a few of the tentacles. This way all patches will be the same, hopefully! Now I’m just going to try out different stitches and see what will look best.

Sooooo....I know I haven’t been around for a while but I have been trying to do stuff! I have finally settled on this design for one of my octopus patches I plan to sell. But the question is, I can embroider them by hand and take forever to male a load orrrr I was thinking of having some made by machines and o could sell them cheaper and get them out quicker?? Is that a thing that people would want?? Let me know and I hope to have this embroidered pretty soon, stay tuned!
