SKYSTAR WEEK 2023 Art Compilation

I DID IT YAY! From Cover Art 00 to Entry 07 + Bonus ending: the visual theme I chose for this year was making each entry as it was part of a Tarot/Oracle Deck of Cards. I think I accomplished that pretty nicely, I even gave it a shot and printed everything AAA I'm so delighted!!

Even if I told myself to do these without a story to follow just each one as a standalone card, I admit after reading the [Graphic Novel Adaptation] of "Fire in the Sky" by @akapen011 (please, if you didn't: read it, IS A JEWEL) I couldn't resist and made Entry 05 and Entry 07 to work together x)

As always I tried to follow @skystarweek 's [Prompts] for the year and to make each entry like a divination card that can be interpreted in the normal and reversed way (still, I know I failed in some things but details pff).

THE END! Now to the next yeaaaar if life gives me another chance, I hope so!

Here beings! A short shipping art challenge I will develop during all of November. With this, I hope to get back into the habit of making character interaction-driven work and well... get familiar with these bots because I LOVE THEM so much and I wish to fill a void with my view of them as a pairing aaa.

All in the company of Depeche Mode's songs because I'm a sucker for a dark but sappy atmosphere haha.

Be aware tho! Because in some of the pics I will nudge a tad of BDSM imagery... but nothing nasty and or violent, only the CONCEPT that drives the whole dynamic.

"BDSM… Windy, are you serious?" OH, YOU KNOW-- or if you don't know: 90% if not all BDSM activities are devoid of sex LMAO. REAL BDSM is about respect, consent and TRUST. To create a space to be vulnerable and not afraid to be judged.

And THAT right there is what I aim to express with this challenge! So I'm heavily focusing on my favorite thing to draw: character bonding, playful behavior, and just fluff, FLUFF, F L U F F.

"So, why not strip this art from the BDSM imagery if there's no action related to it?" Because I'm a FRICKEN TEASER of an artist: as a Graphic Designer I know "sex sells" and how to ride that wave to my own benefit without the full thing x'D. I love the aesthetic AND philosophy of BDSM (I started to learn more about it thanks to a dear friend, and I wish to apply it to my art AND EVEN life too). … And I like to make people scared and/or confused to the point of making them see the whole thing in another way bahaha. I think these two together give those vibes too. I think I explained myself well… OH. One more thing:.
