Hey, Discord users!

you may have seen a post going around about how discord is "silently" rolling out a new feature called Clips, which allows you to be "recorded without your consent or knowledge" during discord voice chats. this post is, as most posts about websites having new scary features are on this website, inflammatory and entirely misleading as to what the feature really does and is.

from what i understand, based on my own experience: discord's new Clips feature is being rolled out incrementally to Nitro users, who get (very not-silently) notified of the feature's existence when they join a voice channel. this feature, which is only in effect while someone is screen sharing, allows the person who is screen sharing to take a clip of their own stream, including their own voice and the voices of others who are also there, which may last up to two minutes.

in short, it is entirely at the discretion of the person who is screen sharing to tell you whether or not they are going to clip something.

do not take this post as me telling you that you're wrong to be uncomfortable with your voice being recorded or whatever, because i get that (i was like that for years!) but please don't spread misinformation about discord "silently recording you without your consent", because it's just not true.

I. Had a THOUGHT.

Once I get to the perfect spot for both I(N)TTSG and IWTB&IFN, I might do a crossover with Ninie and Don getting chucked into Tello's world. Ninie gets found in a net, and very embarrassed. Don is found in a sinkhole trap, scream-singing Teenagers by My Chemical Romance, causing Nardo and Angelo to wheeze, El and Ninie to watch him in concern, and Tello attempting to murder this obviously insane Donatello.

Which is something Don would do, especially if he got bored and decided to wait for the other turtles to show up and rescue him. He just loves messing with people's heads.

Don: Hey, you try being a single dad of four little shits, and see how sane you are after.

Just something funny I thought of...

When someone hands my old purple turtles little turtle tots:

Ninie: 'nervously cradling tot in both hands like they're glass' This Child is so precious and cute, and I am scared of hurting said child~!

Person: Just hold the tot in your arms like you should.

Ninie: 'confused noise as they shift tot around to sit up in hands' Like this? 'clearly never held an actual infant for very long'

Person: ...No. 'takes tot and hands to Tello'

Tello: 'holding tot in both hands with deadpanned glower' God, why am I being forced to hold another tot? Wasn't one enough?!

Person: 'glaring back' Hold the tot right.

Tello: 'grin as he moves the tot to lay on his arm on their plastron' Clearly this is the right way. 'has actually held infant, but was just being an ass'

Person: 'gestures in disbelief at Ninie and Tello, before gently taking tot and handing to Don who was arguing with Donnie'

Don: 'instinctively moved to cradle tot against plastron without looking as he continued his convo like nothing happened' And as I've already told you, Donnie, no. No taking blood from anyone without their permission. You should also not be putting trackers in anyone without their permission either.

The other two: 'gaping at Don' O-O

Don, notices: What?

The two: 'gestures at Don cradling baby like it's natural'

Don: 'quirked brow' Uhhh, I've raised four little turtles before. Trust me, this is not the strangest thing I've done.

The two: 'confused noises'

Don: 'deadpanned stare' Did you forget that I'm from a technically good timeline?

The two: 'embarrassed noises' No!

Don: 'snort' Right.

Don: 'back to Donnie' I mean it, kid. Don't think I'm not watching.

Donnie: 'puffed up' You are not my father!

Don: 'quirked brow' I'm not saying I am. I am telling you that it's wrong to-

Tot: 'makes upset noises'

Don: 'pauses to carefully readjust tot and check them over, before turning back to Donnie with a huff' -to do that without your own siblings' or other family members' permission.

The two: 'staring as Don continues cradling tot to plastron naturally' Turtle has Single Mother Energy.

Ninie was never that involved with Casey Junior when he was a baby. They were very much weird but cool Uncle.

Tello had helped raise Casey Junior. One of the Dads/Uncles.

Karma Bringer Don had raised his kid, as well as his siblings' kids when each of them died, all on his own, until he met his husband. And even then, he's the Main Parent of the household. Has mad respect for all Single Splinters who raised their turtles without a significant other.

I made another Peepaw Donnie. His name is Ninie (pronounced Knee-nee). But what makes him special is that he'd been physically altered by the Krang. So he looks Krangified. Also, he shows up during the movie.

God, my inspiration is a mess.
