To achieve this goal, we've made it our mission to recover materials that pollute the planet and transform them into sustainable and durable sportswear. We use a high percentage of eco-friendly fabrics, including organic cotton. And if materials are available in recycled form, we use them in our products. For example, our polyester used is 100% recycled. This means that our production process is CO2-saving and has a lower carbon footprint compared to conventionally produced polyester. In addition to using sustainable fabrics, we're also committed to reducing waste and preventing overproduction. We use the same fabrics for multiple products and do not work with seasonal collections. We also use packaging which has already been used wherever possible and ship our goods completely plastic-free in reusable cotton bags. Post-Workout Nutrition – or: „What to eat after a workout“ The quick answer is: Give your body the nutrients, that are required after your workout. To understand how the right foods can help you after exercising, it’s important to learn how physical activity affects your body. When you are going through a workout session, your muscles are needing the right fuel to give you the energy you need. Also, some small parts of your muscle are broken down, so your body needs to repair them. Therefor, after your workout, your body tries to rebuild its energy stores and repairs those muscle damages. Eating the proper nutrients, especially carbs and protein, can help your body do exactly that. „So what should I eat?“ you might ask. Your post-workout meal should consist of protein and carbs at the same time to enhance your energy storage and grow your muscles. We prefer 30g of Protein combined with a source of „fast carbs“. Immediately after getting up, move around for about 10 - 12 minutes, preferably in the fresh air. A quick walk with the dog, HIIT with a few basic exercises or power yoga: the main thing is to get your heart rate up. Breathing? Yes, but do it right! Do you already know the WimHof method? Your body will be enriched with more oxygen and just 10 minutes will put your organism in a high performance state, strengthen your focus and your energy. Instead of "The boss always criticizes me unfairly" or "You're always nagging me," say something like "I often feel unfairly criticized because...". You'll find just naming the problem clearly helps reduce stress. 2. Keep your values in mind! Especially in difficult situations, be clear about what is important to you and who you want to be. Is your boss really a personally significant person in your life? Do you want someone with a bad temper to ruin your day or would you rather be a person who can handle it and rise above it? Why negative self-talk affects your training! Everyone has days when the workout is a bit overwhelming. Everything is harder than usually and you end up training less time than usual. Thoughts like "Have I been training the wrong way lately?" or "I'm sure training will go bad the next few weeks, too!" quickly come to your mind. Psychologists call these thoughts "negative self-talk". They significantly determine how you feel and have a direct impact on your training success. The secret about negative self-talk After all, what you think is what you feel. Thoughts and emotions are closely connected. Quickly it becomes a routine and your everyday life is characterized by negative influences that you cause to yourself. However, you can get rid of any habit with a little discipline. And this is how it works: If you follow these 3 steps in your everyday life, you will quickly be able to get rid of your negative self-talk! Step 1: For a few days, consciously pay attention on how you talk badly to yourself. This can be in any everyday situation, not only during sports. Only after you recognize these negative self-talks, you will be ready to eliminate them in the near future. Now you've seen the situations in which negative self-talk pops up in your brain. For example, if "Today is not my day, I'd rather not go to the gym." pops up in your head, write down this sentence for yourself. Step 2: Now that you see in writing which thoughts influence your everyday life, you can use them to find positive alternatives. From the example in Step 1, you can form the positive alternative "After the workout, I'll feel better and be glad I went through with it." The next time that negative self-talk comes up, you'll immediately know what positive alternative you can use to counter it. Step 3: Make it part of your workout routine.
