The World Health Organization (WHO) recommends that infants should be fed complementary foods after the completion of 6 months of age along with breast milk.ย  We educate our mothers on baby weaning food as when to start and how to cook and itโ€™s importance. We keep in mind the needs of the mother and child, what is the best for both of them. Help us spread this knowledge! About Nutrition Month: September is celebrated as National Nutrition Month every year under the Poshan Abhiyaan. The theme of National Nutrition Month 2020 is โ€œEat Right, Bite by Biteโ€. Usually, we conduct activities on the field, but due to pandemic, this year we are running a virtual campaign to spread awareness about the #AtoZofNutrition - quite literally! At Anganwadi:- Take Home Rationย (THR) is provided for children 6 months to 3 years, pregnant and lactating women, while freshlyย cooked hot foodย and a morning snack are provided to children 3-6 years who attend theย #anganwadi ย centre daily, for 300 days annually.
