Mamdani (the DSA-endorsed candidate who focused on the cost of living in NYC) received a call from Andrew Cuomo (the former governor who resigned in disgrace when his multiple counts of sexual harassment came to light) conceding the race.

Technically, the race used Ranked-Choice Voting and no candidate won an outright majority in the first round — but it appears clear Mamdani will take the nomination.

A Giant/ Tiny story similar to the Get Out Film by Jordan Peele. Tinies and Giants coexist but live largely segregated, wealth and access define everything. Giants are rare, powerful, and revered, most tinies live entire lives without ever seeing one up close.

The technology to become a giant doesn’t exist… publicly.

You have fallen for a tiny. A giant and tiny, in love. Ridiculous. But you’ve fallen hard. They’re sharp, witty, tiny! But from a prestigious, well-connected family. You met at an art fair. They’re charming, progressive, outspoken. After dating long-distance for a few months, they invites you to meet their family at their secluded estate.

Your partners mother just chuckles “don’t mind them, sweetie. We’re just curious is all”

Whispered conversations continue late into the night. Your partners father watching you with a curious hunger, not lust… envy?

midnight: you can’t sleep, so you wander the grounds and stumble on a greenhouse big enough to park multiple jets, only inside it’s stocked with other 20-foot bodies, perfectly proportioned, floating in nutrient tanks like giant mannequins waiting for the runway

Realization slams home: the family isn’t collecting giants for fun; they’re growing empty shells, waiting to download their own tiny minds.

The family and many elite tiny dynasties have discovered a way to transplant consciousness.

Your tiny ‘partners’ sweet, airy laugh: “I told them you were perfect.”

Never was in love with you, simply scouting the perfect body for themselves.

somewhere out there right now is a kid with curly hair being raised by people who have wavy hair at best and those people are giving them 2-in-1 shampoo and conditioner and telling them to dry brush it. and that kid is gonna spend all of middle school and high school hating their hair and moping over the flat iron. they're being told right now that if they don't dry-brush their curl pattern into oblivion every morning it means they're unkempt and gross even though they naturally have the kind of ringlets that a thousand bridezillas would commit horrible murders for every june. it's happening right now it's an absolute epidemic and a tragedy every time

If you’re in Canada you could email a rep about concerns about Elon musk interfering in our next federal election.

If you’re in the US the list is endless.

If you’re in Australia, what about dental care in Medicare?

If you’re in Europe, look into some EU initiatives of particular concern. Perhaps something to do with nature and biodiversity? Idk
